Today is the first day of your life. It would be wise to accept it just that way. However, it is your choice how you see each day. Wisdom and Common Sense says it is wise for us to leave all the things that are unlike Our Father behind, release all the old and let it go.

We here at Universal Wisdom Fellowship ask you these questions.

1. Can you let all negatives go and release them?
2. Are you able to free your subconscious mind from prejudice and intolerance?
3. Does your heart contain globs of Divine Love?
4. Is your mind filled with wisdom so that problems such as, criticism, chauvinism and discrimination are non-existent within?
5. Can you pour Divine Love over anything unlike The Father and be at peace?

We know what most of us want is for things to be easy or gentle. However, it appears that many times things become intense for us before they become gentle. This may be due to our previous thinking. Let us embrace Divine Love and Divine Wisdom so that the plans of Our Father are our mainstay.

Our Father loves us dearly and His love is in each of us. It is best that we are sentient towards Our Father. The Scriptures tell us and Jesus told us to Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, with all thy mind, and with all thy soul. Matthew 22:37. Is that too hard for us to do?

Talk to Our Father and He will come to know you. He will answer your every question. Life will become spiritual, lovely, wonderful, harmonious, delightful and precious.

In essence, Life Is What You Make It.  Make It Spiritual and Everything Else Follows.  It is just that simple.

Change Your Mind

Let this mind be in you that is in Christ Jesus. This is actually called by Jesus as the "Regeneration".

We can begin this by developing a strong Spiritual faith. All of us already have faith and it is strong, but it is mostly a material faith.

To develop a Spiritual Faith calls for the regeneration (renewal, rebirth) of our belief system; one that looks, feels, acts, knows and believes like Jesus.

When this is complete and takes hold in our thoughts, we are well on the way to becoming pure, holy and developing the quality that Jesus saw in Peter, the rock.

We will speak more about the qualities of Peter in our April Newsletter and what a "rebirth" will do for us.

Love life and live it honestly. Remember, Our Father is "Pure Life".

What You Think Becomes Your Life Experiences

For what reason have we become a world that lives on devastation, suppression and destructive thoughts and ideas? For what reason do we fail to understand that everything that we think sets things in motion? Most important for all us to know! I ask the question, "How many Good Things can you think of or bring to mind?"

As a teacher in an Elementary School in The High Desert of California, each week our class selected one student (who wanted to be a part of this) to stand before the class to build self-esteem. Each student including the teacher would say everything that he or she could about the student that was good and we never repeated what anyone else had said.

In the beginning, it was difficult for the students because they only could say what they saw, but through guidance little by little they began to say what was inside. Things like, he/she is kind; he/she says nice things about others; he/she likes to share; he/she is fun to play with and many other wonderful things.

They were taught to say about the person things that they would love for someone to say about them. We as adults appear to forget this. The focus was to guide the children how to say and think good about another rather than to call their classmates names that even they would feel hurt if they heard someone say those things about them.

This teaching led the students to understanding the virtues such as: caring about another, being clean, having compassion, and learning about being confident and considerate. They learned that there are honorable virtues that are hidden inside each of us. The Scriptures teach that it is better to forgive than to hold revenge against another and that compassion is much greater than anger. Yet, we are slow to practice this.

Only 15 minutes was allowed for this even if only half the class had a chance to say something good. I watched closely to make sure at some time during the month every child in our First Grade Class had a chance to think good and I want you to know that the children were asking for us to do this more often.

This paid off as none of the children in our class were ever sent to the office or ever acted up in class after this procedure was begun. Children only act up for attention. They want our love and they want to know that they are loved.

You may think that this is not going to stop what happened in Newtown, but you will never know until you have tried it. I received many letters from the parents stating how their kids had grown to have good self-esteem and a good self-image when I taught in The High Desert. I think I still have some of those letters.

The process of telling a child of all the good in the children came to mind after our Minister Dr. William H.D. Hornaday told us about an African Tribe using this method when anyone in the tribe committed the slightest dishonest act. The tribe came together and placed the person who had committed a wrong deed in the center of a circle and this method of speaking only good about the person over and over never repeating a statement that anyone had said until all good was exhausted. For this African Tribe the process could last for days, night and day. There was little to no crime in that Tribe.

What do we do as a civilized nation? We criticize the one that does good. We browbeat the one who does good and we kill the character of the one that thinks differently from the group.

As a civilized Nation we go ever further. Our Media spreads as much terror as they can, they spread as many statements that causes an area to feel anguish as much as they can and they talk and talk and talk about the crimes until the people are all embroiled in rage and then they go to the next terror and begin again.

Congress does a similar thing. They block good and filibuster until days, weeks, months and years pass and the good that could have saved so many comes back to haunt all with sorry and sadness.

When will we learn that this Nation was set up upon a Power that is Higher than ourselves? IOur Nation is unable to survive without the express Power for Good, for it is embedded deep within our souls and is our very life energy. In fact, it is Life itself within each individual. Remove that Power and we destroy ourselves and then wonder (if we are still around), what went wrong.

I know that this sounds awful and appears negative, but if we never hear this or no one ever says it, how and when will we ever know there is a better way?

We are to understand that what we look at comes through what is in our mind. If our mind needs cleaning, what we see will need cleaning. If our mind is cloudy, what we look at will be cloudy. Making the mind pure and clean will make our world pure and clean.

A good clue is that if everything we see, we see something wrong, then our mind needs cleaning. Sometimes, things on the outside do need cleaning, but not at every turn. It is better to see the advances toward making progress. Avoid looking at areas where there appears that progress is standing still.

Old ideas do never fit new patterns. Youth is possible even in the accumulation of years. I heard on a series, "I don't let jet lag in my mind." Perhaps this would be a good phrase to use, "I let only the good enter my mind."

Is this something that we can embrace in this wonderful New Year 2014? Over 2000 years Jesus was born and because of the Divine Love in his heart he began to tell us how and what to do for a wonderful life. Yet, there is much we still lack to do in practice.

Perhaps, if you would consider joining us in this next year when our WSOM Classes begin in September you will see that this is a mighty Way of Life. It never has to disturb your present Religion. You will find that it simply enhances it. It causes you to see how much you really love life and that you are already abundant. Only time will tell.

Enjoy Life, Love Life and know that Our Father truly loves you and so do we.

What Is Life?

What is life? It is the accumulation of years? If we fill those years rightly, they will be filled with Divine Wisdom and Love.

There are "givers" and there are "takers". The "givers" are never concerned about how much they have or about using what they have for power. The "takers" have not learned how to accumulate good and know that there is a Higher Power that gives their good, thus they continually take.

There are also "hoarders" and "sharers". The "hoarders" stop all circulation of the Law of life.   They fail to embrace the idea that there is a Cosmic Law of Circulation that requires each of us to keep the mind, the heart and the hand open so that good can enter.

The "sharers" understand that it is good for everyone to know what they know and want to share everything with others. This confuses the hoarder, for they fill their mind with the idea that if they share, they will have less.

The question today is, "What can we do to change the economy?" Those who believe in a Higher Power know that it is the Higher Power that is in each of us that gives the increase and it is the Higher Power that exacts what is in the heart and balances everything.

This Power is unable to know a "rich" person per se. It knows the heart of a person. It is unable know a "poor" person. It knows only the heart of a person.

The "giver" and "sharer" understand that there is power in giving and sharing. The more you give, the more you have. The more you share, the more you have. These people know that the Higher Power said that the Law of Circulation, the Law of Giving and Receiving supports this idea, for it is God who gives the increase.

The Higher Power knows "prosperity." Where there is wealth, there is goodness. What is it that all of us want to experience? Can we believe that is for everyone to receive all the Good that Our Father has for us? Let us suggest that accepting only Our Father's Good is a wonderful idea.

King Saul and Samuel, the Prophet

I want to tell you about King Saul and Samuel the Prophet during that time. God at that time wanted the Prophets to guide the people, but the people railed and rousted until they finally got God to let them have a King they could see.

Saul, a Benjamite and the son of Kish, stopped to consult Samuel to help him with finding his father's drove of asses. Samuel was a Prophet and was impressed with Saul. The Lord informed Saul he was to anoint Saul to become the first King of Israel. Saul did fine for a while and then he disobeyed God because he wanted things the way he wanted them and it resulted in God abandoning King Saul.

"Saul signifies personal will He represents the consciousness in its natural estate. It is willful and stubborn, shy and impulsive, yet very brave under great stress. When first chosen as king Saul was very humble; and true humility is one of the first qualifications for spiritual leadership. The will is a very complex phase of the mind, however, and its paradoxes often perplex the most acute."   You will find pages about Saul on page 575-576 in the Metaphysical Bible Dictionary.

Samuel told King Saul that God would replace him with another who would obey His words. Of course, Saul was angry and later figured out that it was David, the youngest son of Jesse that he would replace King Saul as God's King.

The people were unsatisfied when Saul was King and complained just like they do today with the Presidents that govern the USA. It is if you do right, they complain. If you do wrong, they complain and if you are the best, they complain. If you are the worst, they complain. The people are never satisfied. God answered the people of Israel, gave them what they wanted and they complained. Let us learn from King Saul's actions how to know that it is within ourselves that we find the problem. Let us seek to understand, get the wisdom that will help us, but above all get the understanding.

To rule, to govern, to speak for the people, one must be humble. Man tells us that being meek means, we are pushovers, but Our Father tells us it is gentleness and kindness. Anything else is when we act rough. Humbleness is the kind of action in an individual is which many call character and the Scriptures may call charm.[1] Frances Wilshire tells us, "One of charm's greatest avenues of expression is innate sweetness." Do you have that virtue kindness?

Simply and with greater understanding, humility means that we are to act like Our Father. It also means to live by the teachings of Jesus the Christ and allow the Christ to come forth from within us. It means with greater understanding that each of us must be responsible for our own actions, our own life and caring about Our Father with great Divine Love and Divine Wisdom. This may be the reason that many of us lack peacefulness and the understanding that peace is a giant expression of what is in each of us. It also means to have compassion.

In other words, if our thoughts are unlike Our Father or Jesus Christ, then we have lost our way. Let us also understand that if we want to make any kind of real spiritual demonstration in our life, then we must recognize and obey the Divine Laws of Our Father.

Let us return to King Saul and the actions of his will to satisfy his desires. To live the way King Saul lived, one would more than likely move away from Truth. Truth leads us to know eternal things and our willingness to satisfy our desires lead us to things that are temporal or worldly. This is what we can label as having a sense consciousness rather than a spiritual consciousness.

God Loves His Children

This is a wonderful time in life. We have the authority to make everything that we experience authentic. Once we become aware and alert to how to do it, the continuation become easier. The exercise below can be a wonderful beginning. It is always your choice, but know that Our Father loves you more than you will ever know.

Instead of finding fault with everything, such as the President, Congress, your mom or dad, your sons or daughters, Atheists, churches, Ministers, Priests, Rabbis, people who a different in color than you or Countries, Nations, the East, the West, the North or South, Doctors, Lawyers or even Corporations, try loving everything, everyone and everybody. It would be wonderful to give your heart to Our Father, give Him your soul and your mind. Then ask Him to spread the love you have all around you. Ask Him to spread it throughout your home, out into the city in which you live, out into the state, then into the United States and out into space, throughout the Universe into the Heavens above, the Heavens all around you and the Heavens below. The next thing would be for you to ask Our Heavenly Father to assist you in loving the Lord Jesus Christ, the One He sent so that we all could know what Our Father looked like and what He would do for each of us.

When you have done this, begin to feel His Divine Love and Power flowing throughout all the Universe returning to in the same order as you spread it, allow it to return to you with this wonderful feeling of Divinity flowing through Corporations, Lawyers, Doctors, the South, North, West and East. Then through all the Nations, Countries and returning with this beautiful Divine Love from all peoples who are different in color from you, from Rabbis, Priests, Ministers, churches, Atheists, your daughters, sons, your dad and mom. Feel this Divine Love returning to you from Congress, and the President of the United States.

Now, allow yourself to feel what Our Father and His Son, Jesus feel, know and give to each of us who respond to The Father, Son and Holy Spirit. This is the way life is meant to be from the beginning.

However, if problems of which you still are unable to free, because of the unacceptance of the other, Jesus said to give your burdens to Our Father and allow Him to handle it for you. When you do this, then all thought about it must be left to The Father. As we were taught, you may also use by going to a washbasin and say, "I wash my hands of this problem. As the dirty water goes down the drain so does this problem." If you live near the Sound, a pond, a Sea or an Ocean you can send your problem into the water and leave it there. The water belongs to Our Father, so in essence you are still giving it to Our Father.

An individual that follows God's way of Divine Love is certainly a mature individual. All childhood actions are free from entering a mature mind.
