In response, let us understand that Our Father created this "Fountain of Life" for us when He created the first human. He told the first male and female that He had placed in that beautiful Garden of Eden everything that they needed to make this a wonderful life. All the herb bearing seeds, every tree to bear fruit to yield seed to use as meat He gave for their health.

I know that most believe that Our Father created the Heavens and the Earth in seven (7) days, which we generally think of a day as being 24 hours totaling 168 hours for those seven (7) days.

 Thus, let us apply a little common sense, which Dr. Holmes said is very uncommon, to understand this idea in order to create with Intelligence that Our Father used in creating everything on and in this Earth and in the Universe to simply understand that it would take more than a 24 hour period that we know to be a "day".

First let us look at a leaf. You can take several leaves and note what you see with the naked eye, but it will fall short in telling you what God has in that leaf. Now I also went to the Library and researched several books on plants and leaves, but none were as explicit as those on the Internet. The one book that supported the Internet pictures, but was not as explicit was titled, LEAVES and was published by Crown Publisher, Inc in New York and the text is by Chillean Tolmie Prance, Senior Vice-President for Science, The New York Botanical Garden and the most beautiful photographs are by Kjell B. Sandved.

This book tells us how the leaves are formed, all about the characteristics of each kind of leaf and the many uses found in all parts of the world of hundreds of leaves. They are beautiful!

Of the Internet pictures I was truly fascinated with the thyme leaf as I love thyme tea with a little honey because of the affect it has on the body.

Yet, few, if any, take a real good look at the intricacy, the minutiae, the finer points of any one thing on this Earth and know that even for Our Mighty Heavenly Father that a twenty-four hour period would be absurd!

Have you heard this statement? "God's time is not our time." What do you think that means? Just that!  

You may wonder about this "few thousand years" that I have written here, but when we search the Scriptures, we find that a "day" is as a thousand years and a thousand years is as a day to The Lord. Depending upon the Bible you are reading you will also see the word "like" used. The key is the word "as", for it means that Our Lord uses a "period of time" that may be like or "as" a thousand years. You can read this in 2 Peter 3:8-9.

Therefore, it is "as" the Lord worked, "as" the Lord created, it took a period of time to complete the day's work, because the plan had to first be understood and then the creation of the plan, the intricacies, the details had to be just so.

As a result of wanting things the way we want them understand that we prepare ourselves for what we understand and it is important to understand that We always receive what we prepare OURSELVES for and not for what we have asked! The statement is very, very important and one to always remember. Thus, we want to develop a very strong faith in understanding The Lord God, for it is Our Divine faith that keeps us safe and filled full of the wisdom and knowledge necessary for living a life of Truth.

This is a gorgeous Earth upon which we live and if we could see the entire Universe, I know that its beauty and all that it encompasses would be unbelievable.

Keep seeking Our Father and you will come "face to face" with this magnificent "Fountain of Life" just as Our Father created it just for our enjoyment.

Health is Your Divine Right

(We wanted to present this article to you again at this particular time as illness appears to be so prevalent and appearing to run rampant within the minds of Our Father's Children.

When this article was written Maureen Cook was in training. Health is our divine right.  Illness is an effect; it is not a cause.  Any illness is a belief in our separation from God. 
 
When we want to heal a dis-ease, we must turn entirely away from the condition and release any beliefs that a dis-ease belongs to our client.  Physical and emotional illnesses are healed in the same way.
 
There are no dis-eases that are more powerful or more difficult to heal.  All dis-ease provides an opportunity for growth in consciousness.  We must see our client as being perfect, whole and complete.
 
In my Practitioner studies, I have learned the various ways in which people manifest dis-eases.  They are brought forth based on beliefs either consciously or subconsciously. 
 
The dis-ease manifests as a result of a belief in a pre-disposition, fear of germs, fear of illness or negative emotions that have not been released, giving power to stress, race consciousness and gaining attention.  To heal the illness, we must release the belief that is the cause of the discord.
 
There is a mental equivalent for every illness that can direct us to uncover the belief that allowed it to manifest.  For example, cancer can be the result of the emotions of resentment stored in the body.  It can also manifest as result of a belief in a pre-disposition or as a result of a race consciousness that affirms that cancer is part of our experience.
 
Often people who experience cancer have a sense of self-pity and feelings of victimization.  In some cases, something occurs in childhood that destroys their sense of trust.  They tend to blame others for their problems.  They are also self-critical, so learning to love the self is critical in healing cancers.
 
Different types of cancer can also relate to the belief of the client, for example, the lungs represent the ability to take in life so lung cancer could represent old resentment and fear of taking in life.
 
As Practitioners, the most important question that we ask our clients is, "Do you want to be healed?"  If the client is unwilling to be free of an illness, they are not open to being healed.  

It is the work of the Practitioner to determine the belief that has separated the client from his oneness with God.  The Practitioner treats to heal the separation and reveal the God within.  When a client can accept a belief in Truth in place of an old belief that caused the separation from God, the client has healed some part of his consciousness and can manifest a healing in form.
 
As within so without.  When an illness presents itself in some form, it allows us to draw awareness as to what belief needs to be healed.  If we can look upon dis-ease as an opportunity for growth, we can allow the belief to be released and replaced with the Truth.   

The Mighty Father

What would you do if you saw the Mighty Father in all His Glory in the heavens called sky on the Earth? Is it possible? Everything is possible with Our Father. Jesus says this. He said it when he was in the Garden of Gethsemane while praying to His Father and he asked that for the cup to pass from him if it was possible, but that it was not to be his will, but what his Father willed.  Then he told His Father that everything is possible for Him. That last statement sounded like a little boy asking his dad for something that he wanted. The tones here to me are sweet, dear and beloved.

As I say that, my heart leaps with joy and an unusual peace and illumination that is indescribable fills me. Since Rev. Fred and I have been in Connecticut, there have been more than 140 students that were receptive to our teaching. One Hundred and Thirty-Five of those students of Science of Mind One came through Rev. Fred when we Founded World United Church and many of those continued to complete SOMHS 2, 3 and our other classes with me. We saw so many people grow emotionally, financially and spiritually. Yet, I can say there were only three (3) students that were close to me like Peter, James and John were close to Jesus.

O how I yearn to be capable of pouring this into you, not what I want-my will, but for the sake of The Father-His will! "¹¹Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart. ¹²Rejoice in the Lord, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of His Holiness." Psalm 97:11, 12

What is this Infinite Spirit, this fluidic Substance that is in this Universe in which we live? Well, it may be wise to first realize what love is, then understand Divine Love and lastly check ourselves as to our own beliefs about the simple art of loving.

At any rate, it is wisdom that leads you to begin at the beginning right where you are, then to proceed from that point doing, thinking and acting according to your beliefs about Truth that you may become aware of what seeing Our Father face to face means.

Our Father loves each of us dearly. There is no partiality shown to any one individual or any culture or race. He simply responds according to what He feels in your heart. Our deeds must be Truthful and spoken in Truthfulness. The Mighty Father awaits you. Do you desire to meet Him "face to face"?

The Meaning of Marriage - Part 4

 About the Male Created by Our Father

I do not know exactly what Our Father says about the male/man when it comes to this part of marriage as I have not received any information as of this point from Him personally.

Though, there are some men/males that appear to be enthused, inspired, motivated and stimulated with being Gay and perhaps some is due to the pollution in the air as related by an Audubon statement in regards to what was happening to the Egrets. We all breathe the same air.

On the other hand, these are the verses in the Scripture that seems to support the idea of non-homosexuality:

Please understand that wherever our understanding rests, when it comes to the Scriptures it will support what we believe. The Scriptures appear to buoy up our level of understanding. That is the reason we have stated many times to ask The Father to "show" us Truth or to assist us in understanding Truth and where we may be off track.

On page 30 of The Science of Mind Textbook we find these words by Dr. Holmes, "The conscious mind is superior to the subjective...." Look carefully at those words. If you recall some of our earlier teaching through the classes and The Source Within articles we have stated that the "conscious mind" represents the male and the "subconscious mind" represents the female.

Think carefully about that last statement, for it is the wisdom that will lead you to understand that the male, which is the "conscious mind", is superior to the subconscious mind, which is the female in him. He has control over his own thoughts, which will lead him to the possibilities of the path to freedom.

This freedom is in what happens to us all. It evolves (goes forward) and works through the Cosmic Law of Cause and Effect. The wise male will speak these words, "Shew me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths." Psalm 25:4

The wise male will understand that the female was a gift to him. She is a gift that will keep him from being alone, but never to control. No one can control the subconscious except by thinking through the conscious mind Our Father's Goodness. I trust you understand this clearly.

The thing that man, the male needs today is an inner understanding of his place in the Universe. Our Father began this beautiful world with His Beauty, green grass, fruit trees, animals in peace with nature and man and the mountains and hills that portrayed and expressed His loving kindness.

It appears that the male (the conscious mind) does not know how to handle peace and peaceful events with beauty and Our Father's Beauty all around him. It is as if Our Father through the Scriptures is constantly showing us what His world is like and what happens when we stray from His way of thinking, away from His paths and we fall short in believing it is possible or can be worth practicing. The question is, "When will he learn or any of us learn?"

The people, who were ruled in the of The Old Testament by the male, chose to believe in a chaotic and war-like world except for a few like Abram, (later known as Abraham) Moses, Noah, Isaac, Jacob and all the Prophets.

In the New Testament we find that Our Father sent "His" Son so that we could see what He was if you could see Him face to face. For what reason do I say this? When Thomas was questioning Jesus about where he was going and how could they know the way, he told Thomas that he was the truth, the way and the life.

Then Philip wanted Jesus to show him The Father. I can imagine how Jesus looked at him and then told him about all the length of time he had been with them that if they knew him, they have already seen The Father and already KNOW The Father. In many ways, the males/men of today are in the same predicament. All are told about The Father and yet the search is still on, "What does He look like? For what reason is there so much trouble? When will The Father stop this?" He has already given us the knowledge and wisdom. We simply have to use it. Put it to practice. All we have to do is ASK!

Let us understand that Our Father loves us dearly. He is for us and never against us. He waits for us to show our love for Him and when you call His Name, He is there with us.
