Greetings!
Ministers

Each morning, it would show wisdom on your part if you would consider thanking Our Father for pure air, life that flows through every cell in your body, for thoughts that guide you joyfully, for protection every moment of the hour and for Our Father's Angels watching day and night over you.

We can only suggest what will make your life wonderful, but we cannot make you think, say, act or do what we know is for your highest good. That alone has to be your choice.

Yet, if you followed every 'good' thing that comes to you, your life would be exceptional! We can only tell you that these are the blocks that hold you in a negative state:

  • Jealousy
  • Envy
  • Anger [deep seeded]
  • Rebellion
  • Fear
  • Selfishness
  • Worry
  • Greed
  • Criticism, and

These are the keys that will release you:

  • Love [Divine]
  • Joy
  • Peace
  • Praise
  • Non-Interference
  • Courage
  • Munificence
  • Thanks
  • Kindness
  • Faith
  • Obedience

One way to bring the keys into your life is to take each one and ask Our Father what blocks that key from operating in your life. Then, it means faith and understanding is the best route to take to make that key alive in you.

All of these are suggestions, but they are suggestions we use and find that for us, they work. Perhaps, the suggestions you find in our Newsletters will help you, too. It is also wise to keep the Pure White Light of the Christ around you so that nothing can enter to hurt or harm you.

We love you dearly,

The Reverends

Worship Our Father in the Beauty of Holiness -- Part II

Through My Eyes Our Father Sees the Perfection of His Universe

By Rev. Pat

Perhaps this is the most difficult of this series of articles as most of us see a very imperfect Universe and some never even regard Our Father as Real.

So many would rather skip this part all together, but I say to you, if you ever want to understand yourself, know the Truth of You, it is wise to begin to allow Our Father to see through your eyes and you see through The Father's eyes. When this happens you see only beauty. Everything is lovely and yes, life is really beautiful, joyful and it can also be lots of fun.

It is wise to simply relax and allow beauty to behold you. It was amazing when I stumbled upon this verse in the Scriptures to worship Our Father in the Beauty of His Holiness.

Beauty has always played a big part in my life. It has been a mission of mine to assist others to embrace Beauty as I have associated it with perfection most of my life. So, to see this verse in different Books of the Bible and to find out that these verses are a form of worship thrilled me to all ends.

I recall when we were Ministers at World United Church, that Something deep within told me to tell more about Our Father. I am certain there are many things that are seldom told about The Father.

The articles that are written now are to enlighten or acquaint you with as many things that Our Father has done for us that we think was only for those regarding the days of Moses, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and other profound Biblical characters.

Our topic says that Our Father sees His Creation through our eyes. Know that He cannot see His Perfection if we fail to see His Universe as Perfect.

I hear often that we live in an imperfect world, but that is far from Truth. The World is perfect, beautiful and wonderful. However, we humans, have a tendency to see things differently. We may see things as our emotions emote dramatically and display exaggerated thoughts that may be out of line with Our Father.

At any rate, the World, God's World is still as He created it, beautiful and wonderful. Everything truly works in harmony. Our thoughts, if they are out of harmony will allow us to see only what our thoughts project. Thus, it is so very important to begin to see the World, the Universe and everything that Our Father has created as perfect. A wonderful way to see perfection is to think of it and then see it as beauty. The old adage is quite true. Beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder.

There is perfection deep within us and it can be brought to the forefront of our mind so that beauty can shine and be clearly seen. When we do that, we are at peace. This kind of perfection, which is truly beauty protects us in everything that we do. Never take it for granted, but give thanks for Our Father's Kindness, His Saving Grace and His Protection.

We so often forget what Our Father has done for us and continues each and every moment. Generally, it is an answer to a prayer and once the prayer is complete, unless we have written it down it may be forgotten.

The answer you get is what is for your highest good according to your level of understanding. We can never go beyond what we understand.  Dr. Ernest Holmes says, "We can demonstrate at the level of our ability to know.  Beyond this, we cannot go." Science of Mind by Holmes, page 271 paragraph three.

What You Think Becomes Your Life Experiences

By Rev. Pat

renewmind For what reason have we become a world that lives on devastation, suppression and destructive thoughts and ideas? For what reason do we fail to understand that everything that we think sets things in motion? I ask the question, "How many Good Things can you think of or bring to mind?"

When I was a teacher in an Elementary School in The High Desert of California, each week our class selected one student (who wanted to be a part of this) to stand and allow the students including the teacher to say everything that we could about that student that was good and never repeated what was anyone else had said. I may have told you about this before, but it is important here again.

In the beginning it was difficult for the students because they only could say what they saw, but through guidance little by little they began to say what was inside. Things like, he/she is kind; he/she says nice things about others; he/she likes to share; he/she is fun to play with and many other wonderful things.

They were taught to say about the person things that they would love for someone to say about them. The focus was to guide the children how to say and think good about another rather than to call their classmates names that even they would feel hurt if they heard someone say these things about them.

This teaching led to understanding the virtues such as: caring about another, being clean, having compassion, learning about being confident and considerate and all the other wonderful honorable virtues that are hidden inside.

The Scriptures teach that it is better to forgive than to hold revenge against another and that compassion is much greater than anger. Yet, we are slow to practice this.

Only 15 minutes was allowed for this even if only half the class had a chance to say something good. I watched closely to make sure at some time during the month every child in our First Grade Class had a chance to think good and I want you to know that the children were asking that this be done more often.

This paid off as none of the children in my class were ever sent to the office or ever acted up in class after this procedure was begun. Children only act up for attention. They want your love and they want to know that they are loved.

You may think that this is not going to stop what happened in Newtown, Connecticut, but you will never know until you have tried it. I received many letters from the parents at that time stating how their kids had grown to have good self-esteem and a good self-image when I taught in The High Desert. I think I still have some of those letters.

The process of telling a child of all the good in the children I taught was used after our Minister Dr. William H.D. Hornaday told us about an African Tribe using this method when anyone in the tribe committed the slightest dishonest act. The tribe came together and placed the person who had committed a wrong deed in the center of a circle and this method of speaking only good about the person over and over never repeating a statement that anyone had said until all good was exhausted. There was little crime in that Tribe.

What do we do as a civilized nation? We criticize the one that does good. We brow-beat the one who does good and we kill the character of the one who does good.

As a civilized Nation we go even further. It appears that our Media spreads as much terror as they can, they spread as many statements that causes an area to feel as much anguish as they can and they talk and talk and talk about the crimes until the people are all embroiled in rage and then they go to the next terror and begin again.

It appears that Congress does a similar thing. They block good and filibuster until days, weeks, months and years pass and the good that would have saved many comes back to haunt all with sorry and sadness.

When will we learn that this Nation was set up upon a Power that is Higher than ourselves and it cannot survive without that Power, for it is embedded deep within our souls and is our very life energy. In fact, it is Life itself within each individual. Remove that Power and we destroy ourselves and then wonder what went wrong.

I know that this sounds awful and not very positive, but if we never hear this or no one ever says it, how will we know there is a better way?

The Perfect Moment

By Rev. Pat

I love watching the Science Fiction Movies, because I wonder what if some of those things were true.   What if there truly is something on Earth or in the Earth that causes the constant regeneration of life and no one ever aged?

Or, what if we already have the capabilities in our inner life and that it is Our Father who regenerates us, but we fail to believe that this is possible? After all, there are those who say that our body is younger than we think and some say that cells renew every 7 years! What keeps us from believing that and living that? Is it that there is little money in health? Or, is it that we fear living a lustrous life?

Once someone who had asked for prayer said of me, "I don't know what you are or who you are. I asked for prayer when all the lights in our area were out and we were the only ones whose electricity came back on." Do you accept the perfect moment when it comes to you?

We teach what Jesus taught, yet it is up to each of you to believe. The main purpose to understand is that this teaching is not for fame, never for money and certainly not to be used destructively.

Our Father has told us many times to listen to His son. Obey the commandments, known by some as the "Ritual Decalogue" or the Ten Commandments, keep His Precepts, which are teachings and guidelines on what to do and what not to do. {Wikipedia tells us this: In religion, precepts are usually commands respecting moral conduct.} We are to abide by Our Father's Judgments, which govern our social life, His Ordinances, that which governs our religious life and yet, we are so stubborn that we still lean own our own understanding.

You know that Jesus knew how to walk on water. Did he decide it was easier than learning to swim in it? Our Father gave us so many talents and so much power, yet it appears we choose the hard way to express life.

We have at least 120 years to explore this Earth, [that is with all our junk] and to practice glorifying Our Father, but so many choose to leave it even earlier than that and there are others who have accepted the idea that 70 years is the life span for our generation, for mankind. That is a misunderstanding of the Scriptures.

Rev. Fred and I have come to the understanding that we have a misunderstanding due to language and the idioms in language. We are labeled to be part of the 'Black' Race and yet, there are idioms in our language that we have no idea what they mean. I am speaking of certain statements from a generation of which we were not born. Thus, if we want to truly understand, we ask our daughter.

The Language that Jesus spoke was Ancient Aramaic. This language is no longer used and really not understood by many that live in the area that Jesus once lived. Take for instance this saying that Jesus made, "I am the true vine" in the Book of John 15:1.

Maybe you are thinking about grape vines, but the Idiom means this: I am the true Religion. Isn't that something? We had true teachers. Dr. Bashara was one of our teachers and he told us he was a cousin of The Prophet, Kahil Gibran and knew and understood these Idioms.

What does the perfect moment mean to you? I see the word "perfect" as meaning beauty. When things are beautiful to me, they are beautiful and they are perfect. Is this the reason there is so much chaos? Is this the reason we call the heavens chaotic? Or, is it that we want to only see the ugly?

Think on these things instead and maybe you will feel, hear, see, taste and touch the perfect moment. "Finally, bretheren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things." Philippians 4:8. These things bring you "The Perfect Moment!"

The Meaning of Marriage in the Scriptures

This is our First Study

There are so many teachings that are needed, yet it is difficult to teach many of the Studies on the Internet.

What you think and how you think are really personal and if taken in a way that you think someone is trying to change you, or appear to make you think the way they do makes Truth difficult to teach.

Jesus was so misunderstood by those who did not the Idioms of that day and preferred to do what they wanted.

I saw an article on the Internet that said something like this: Surprise, the Bible Does Not Define Marriage Simply As One Man, One Woman. If the three gentlemen who wrote about this make reference to the Bible, then they evidently consider the Creation Story done by God as Truth.

First, Our Father does not repeat Himself. Fact: Billions of people, yet no one is just like the other. Fact: Billions of people, yet all have different fingerprints. Fact: Billions of people, yet all have different footprints. These are just a few, for there is so much more.

Please return to Genesis and read what it says God created on the Sixth Day. After creating Adam [a man] and putting him in a deep sleep God did not pull out a rib and create another man to be Adam's companion and then said, "It is not good for man to be alone." He created a precious WOMAN! That was the first marriage! And it was not with another man or a marriage with another woman!

I know that this is not going to go well with many, for we as humans truly want to do what we want to do.  We also feel that no one can tell us what to do.

Please understand that I or my husband judges anyone.  That is not for us to do.

So, I ask you to send your questions to be answered in the July 2013 Newsletter soon or personally to you if you do not want your response seen on the Internet. I ask this so that I have time to do the necessary research.

I ask that you truly give thought to the Lesson: Gathering of Minds and The Meaning of Marriage in the Scriptures.

Prayer
for
June

Today is God's day and this day is perfect. I choose harmony, success, prosperity, abundance, security and Divine right action. Infinite intelligence reveals to me better ways to give greater service. I am a mental and spiritual magnet, irresistibly attracting to me men and women who are blessed, comforted and satisfied with everything that I do. I am Divinely guided all day long and whatever I do prospers. Divine Justice and Divine Law govern all my undertakings and whatever I begin results in success. I know the Law of my mind and I are fully aware that all these truths I am reiterating are now sinking into my subconscious mind and they come forth after their kind. It is wonderful. Life is wonderful and I am blessed. I give thanks for the guidance I receive every moment in life. I let this be and so it is. Amen and Selah [I seal this in Truth].
