What I Think Becomes My Life Experience | January 2013 |

Featured Article
We are told to be pure and do what is pleasing and pleasant to Our Father. However, to best please Our Father, it would be wise to know what He likes and what pleases Him.
In Proverbs 6:16-19 it says: 16 There are six or seven kinds of people the Lord doesn't like. 17 Those who are too proud or tell lies or murder, 18 those who make evil plans or are quick to do wrong, 19 those who tell lies in court or stir up trouble in a family.
So, this tells us what makes Him unhappy, but we still have to seek to know what makes Him happy. We know that obedience is very important to Our Father and obeying parents is equally important.
It appears that what makes Him happy is for each of His children to obey the Law of the Lord as it is a lamp unto our feet and a path that will bring much light to life.
That means that self-control is important. It also appears that we are to become wise. In the Scriptures, particularly in the Proverbs wisdom is called a woman and referred to often as "she".
These are just a few of the things that please The Lord, Our Father. As the months pass, we will tell you more of what pleases Our Father. Begin now and decide how and what your plans are to make Our Father happy and pleased with your actions.

With Love and Peace

Greetings!
We ask your forgiveness that this did not come to you on the very First Day of this wonderful New Year 2013. The end of the year brought many problems with the computer in trying to backup files. That is settled now and we thank Our Father for assisting us in clearing this problem. That now is in the past!
We now begin this beautiful and magnificent New Year with a new purpose in mind. We ask you to join us as we begin to set in motion the joy, peace, peace of mind, happiness and all that sponsors the kind of life that Our Father has in mind for us.
We ask that you join us in living life to the highest in feeling and know that it is in our hands to be all that we can be.
It is important to protect ourselves each morning with the Pure White Light of the Christ, because each day is a new day. Depending upon what was done yesterday is foolish. Our Father lives in the Present Moment. Therefore, the past, which was yesterday, is gone. Thus, everything that we did to protect ourselves yesterday even in what we did to know Our Father and come closer to Him, that too is gone. All of that is in the past.
This is our message to each of you today, this morning, this moment, this hour, day, week and month. It is wise for us to take this seriously if we expect Our Father to protect us and keep us sane, safe and secure. It is imperative that we renew our relationship each morning and seek protection for the day.
It is a good practice to be grateful to Our Father for bringing us safely through the night into this beautiful morning filled with the joys of our heart. Each one knows what will make them happy and renewing our Spirit with The Father is the wisest thing to do each day.
It is in your power to let this year be the best year of your life.
In Divine Love and Divine Delight,

Mirror of Your Mind - Part II
By Rev. Pat
After reading our Newsletter on the "Mirror of Your Mind", do you consider yourself a smart chooser? We here at Universal Wisdom Fellowship trust you are more alert, alive, vigilant and aware of how you choose.
If we may suggest, it might be a wonderful idea if you begin by making a list of what you would like to see demonstrated in your life. Each of us know the good things we want to happen, but may have left a lot of it to happen thinking that Our Father will choose for us or our subconscious mind.
Remember, the subconscious mind initiates nothing. It is all based on what you have decided within your own mind. When we, Rev. Fred and myself, were in the SOM Classes, we were taught to go to the mirror, look into our eyes and say, "Everything I have told you in the past was a lie. This is the Truth and what I want you to bring into visible demonstration for me-we then, still looking into our eyes, we stated what we wanted to happen."
In order to be able to tell your subconscious mind what you want to happen, you have to know what you want. I wrote out every good thing I had heard Jesus say, what I wanted and that these things were to come with ease, pleasantness, joy, peace, peace of mind and with charm. I asked that they come in a way that I knew these things were from Our Father and in a way that I would understand exactly what and how to do what I was asking.
In other words, I was trying to make sure that nothing would be a surprise to me. I practiced this before going to the mirror, because the subconscious mind knows when you are lying. If you look away even for a second, it will take that as a lie.
Your subconscious mind is very, very intelligent and a wonderful servant. If anything comes that you do not like, it is because in some way we have put it there in the subconscious ourselves. It can only be removed by the one who put it there.
May I suggest, when you write down what you want to experience, ask yourself, "Do I really want this? How would I feel if this were in my life? Is this something I truly want to experience? Is this good for me? How will I act when this comes into my life? What is my motive?" Ask yourself every possible question you can think. Remember, you are about to put what you think is good into action in your life and you want to make sure that it truly is good for you-not your friend, not your family, but you!
Everything here is simply a suggestion. You really don't have to do anything that you don't want to do. You are in control of your own life experiences. We trust your life will be the happiest and most joyous experience.

Understanding the Separation of Church and State
By Reverend Dr. Pat Ogletree
Is Christmas the only time of the year when the entire world has a Spirit of Peace? Could this be the reason that there are those who want to eliminate that feeling? Let us allow the Christmas Joy to spread throughout the world by allowing the Christmas displays that any city, town, settlement or Religious Organization to put up the Nativity Scene. It is an Amendment in the Constitution giving each the right to worship in its own way.
I think that it should be that no one can sue God's Presence or a Higher Power Presence just because another has had experiences that caused them to disbelieve in God. I believe that no one should sue the President and no one can sue God!
Has the United States lost its faith because of the 3% to 9% of the people who lost faith in God, that Power that lies deep within them and is impossible to erase? I only know or have knows two Atheist. One was a teacher I worked with in North Carolina. She explained to me that there was no God, because if there had been He would never have allowed her luggage to be lost.
She had gone home to gather all the articles that she needed in order to go on line for a Sorority and her luggage was lost in her return to College. She blamed God and was the reason for her becoming an Atheist.
The other person I knew was an Atheist because her son had been killed and she too blamed God. In both these cases when something happened, the words that came out of their mouth was, "Oh my God."
This idea of "Separation of Church and State" is a most important part of the Constitution and a most definite true statement. However, "Separation of Church and State" is never meant to mean "Separation of God (or a Higher Power than man) and State.
I learned from Kabbalah that there are or about 4000 Religions in the World. Can you imagine what it would mean if we said it was alright to have the "Church" tell the State what to do? We would be as crazy as a "Bessie Bug".
Some of these beliefs come under these names: Church, Stake, Temple, Lodge, Fellowship, Cult, Theism, Theosophists, Rosicrucians and on and on. Many of these have churches or belief systems that fall under different beliefs again, e.g. Jewish, Methodist, Catholic, Episcopal, Baptist, Free Will Baptist, Missionary Baptist, Buddhism, Islamic, New Thought, New Age, and again, on and on.

But, Truth is Truth and there is nothing broken down in it. Thus, when we speak about a Power Greater than Ourselves, we speak of Truth. Yes, I do speak from the Scriptures and many of the "Bibles" that are used (may not be called Bible) have different material.
We as people like to think that there are "grey" areas or that it is OK to tell a little "white lie", but think about it, there is either Truth or Untruth and there are no grey areas. Thus, I am called one who believes that it is either "black" or "white". Aren't we something? This is the great reason that it is important to be "clear" headed and "clear" minded.
Where are you in your thinking and what "state" of mind do you live in? It would be absolutely incorrect for me or anyone else to tell you what to believe, what to do and what "state" of mind you are to live in and what to believe, for I am in one place and you may be in another.
Our Father gave us authority over our own life, but that authority was also that if you believe in Our Father then you receive and are given what you desire-honestly and frankly, free and clear. That is the reason that much today is misleading simply because we have tried in many ways to get rid of that Power that is Greater than Ourselves and it can never be done, because it is The Essence of that Power deep within us-our very life. Thus, we miss out on much because we think that it has to come from the outside of us rather than from within.
There is a song called, "Listen to the Lambs". All the lambs are crying that they want to get to Heaven when they die. You see that One Power is about Life. It is not about dying. So, we must do all that we can to understand and then worship this One Power that is Greater than we are. Remember that everything here on this Earth is about you and what you want to do. It is never that anyone is to interfere with what this One Power gave you-authority over your own life.
Go to this Website to see the list of people that some worship: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_people_who_have_been_considered_deities
Seeing this, it leads us to the next thing that we do that Our Father does not do and that is judge by the color of the skin.

Do You Trust Our Father?
By Rev Pat
When you begin to make changes in your life, you may begin to feel an inner rebellion of which you may not understand. This is the old trying to hold on. It is the patterns that you laid down as a path that led you astray.
God told Saul, His first King for the Israelites to kill the Amalekites, all of them and leave none alive. The story is found in the Book of I Samuel 15 where God rejects Saul as King of Israel, because King Saul disobeyed Him.
I am aware that the Bible is difficult at times to understand, but if it is a guide, then the stories there are for us to apply their meaning to our life. Thus, there must be an inner meaning to the story. We call that "a metaphysical meaning" that we at some time in our life are to get that understanding.
The understanding unfolded for me while watching a different version of The Ten Commandments on TV at 4:00 A.M. in the morning. It became very clear how important it is to clear the subconscious of all the negative ideas, paths, patterns, thoughts and everything else from the subconscious mind. I pray I can make it as clear to you.
This idea of the getting rid of the Amalekites is about letting go of all the negative thoughts we have planted or seeded from which other ideas will grow and cause many problems to spring up. Therefore, if all the Amalekites are killed (all negatives) there is no dross left behind that could go unnoticed.
The Metaphysical Dictionary by Charles Fillmore of Unity will give us great understanding. I did not find anyplace in the Dictionary where I could not put meanings in our Newsletter, but it would be even greater if you would purchase this book yourself. This is what Mr. Fillmore says about this Amalek nature of thinking:
Disobedience has many forms: the most stubborn is that which absolutely refuses to obey. It stands up for its rights. It tells us that certain things are good for us, that the race has always indulged in them, and that such indulgence is necessary. Such ideas as these are the Amalekites down in the vale. They have become fixed in consciousness and refuse to abdicate. They are not receptive to the illumination of "Spirit: why crave self-gratification and are determined to have. They must be taken up in prayer and denied place in consciousness.
There is far more that he says and is important, but I feel it is of a greater importance that you seek to study this if you wish your life to change. This is what we at Universal Wisdom Fellowship teach-change, understanding, Our Father's Goodness. You refuse this teaching for the most part because of these negative kinds of thoughts. The sad part is that often we think we are doing the right thing.
The other thing is that it is wise to continue for the rest of our lives clearing the subconscious, for we have lived hundreds of lives, perhaps even thousands planting negative thoughts in other lifetimes.
Yes, living life victoriously and trusting Our Father is a lifetime career. Jesus taught what Our Father was and is like, but we still hesitate to believe that His words are Truth.
I have in the past heard, "I have to do what I have to do" and other sayings.
The classes that Rev. Fred and I took years ago, we were taught to ask, "What is my motive?" We were also taught that when a problem arose to take the Bible open it and read what your eyes fall upon, because that would be the answer to our problem.
When we reject the Scriptures because of its difficult understanding, we are actually rejecting the solution to our problem and many will say, "It is God's Will." Poppy Cock as Joseph Murphy would say. What we do is simply our desires and wishes taking control and commanding us to disobey Our Father, God.
Well, there it is. The question is still there, "Do you trust Our Father?" Only you can answer.
In Divine Love and Delight,
Rev. Pat

Prayer for January 2013
|
O Lord, I know that all of life is good no matter what happens in it. I know that You accompany me every moment of my life. I ask that You, "Allow me to partner to you this day and every word I speak, everything I encounter You are there with me to guide, guard and keep me safe, sane and secure. I ask that You let Your Angels be with me. Never leave me alone, for my human thinking still lingers. I ask that You heal my spirit and make it like yours." I know this day that Your love permeates every atom of my being. I live and move and have my being in You. This day is a good day and this New Year is on its way to being the best I have ever experienced. I accept every Good thing that you have for me and because of Your Goodness I know as King Solomon knew the difference between Thy Goodness flowing in and that which goes out that is unlike You My Lord. I let my love flow to You and receive Your Divine Love and Wisdom with great joy. For this I am so very grateful for Your Loving-Kindness and for Your Faithfulness. My days are long because of You. Thank you My Lord, thank you. I let every word flood my soul and I say, "I let it be and so it is." Shalom, Selah, Amen.
