Finding Church in Surprising Places: East Tiimor, a Church on the Move
|
The Minnesota Conference has been blessed to engage in global ministries in a variety of ways through the years. Now we have a wonderful opportunity to financially support the missionary appointments of two of our own, Rev. Tom and Dr. Monica Liddle (members of Peace UCC - Duluth). ________________________________________________________________
One of the cornerstones of pastoral ministry in the Protestant Church of East Timor is the home worship service, or "kultu uma kain" in the local language. During the week therefore, there are always afternoon worship services in the home.

- United Theological Seminary is offering a tempting list of courses that don't require prerequisites, allowing you to step into (or back into) seminary education. If you want to explore theology more deeply or return for a class you'd find helpful in your vocation there's still time to register as a non-degree student or auditor for the fall semester.
