Today marks my 1-year anniversary of being the Conference Minister of the Minnesota Conference United Church of Christ. What a challenging and blessed year it has been! I have learned so much from all of you as I have visited congregations, chatted with you at events, and worked alongside you in this vast ministry we share. So, today I simply want to offer my gratitude to you for this journey we've been on together...

Conference Minister, Rev. Shari Prestemon travelling in Israel-Palestine

Conference Minister, Rev. Shari Prestemon is in Israel-Palestine with a delegation from the United Church of Christ and the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) on a mission of peace.

She has been blogging throughout her journey, and you are welcome to follow along here. We will also be linking her posts on our Facebook page and on uccmn.org.

Joys and Concerns

Falcon Heights UCC will celebrate its 75th anniversary on Sunday, October 5 at its 10:30am worship service, with a number of former clergy and their spouses present. A "classic" church potluck will follow at noon.
We are saddened to report the death of Elin Malmquist Skinner on September 4, 2014. Elin was a member of Macalester Plymouth United Church, and was a longtime and involved volunteer in the life of the Minnesota Conference UCC. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family, and all touched by Elin's life. A full obituary is available here.
