PUT SOME SPRING IN YOUR STEP
Annual Spring Open House  May 1 - 3

It's time to showcase what we've been growing this year, and you are invited to come and browse.  This is the one chance every year, when you can wander through our entire greenhouse complex and see how we produce the premium quality plants you have come to expect from Huron Ridge.
We will have refreshments for you, door prizes and guided tours if you wish to learn more about our operation.
We look forward to seeing you.

Veggie Gardening
While it is much too early to plant tomatoes or peppers, there are lots of your favorite vegetables you can get started now..

PotNGo

Seeds you can plant early include:
potatoes, carrots, radishes, peas, lettuce, spinach
Started plants that you can put in early:
broccoli, brussels sprouts, cabbage, onion sets,
Wait until the soil feels warm to your hands while digging before you plant peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers or melons.  Some of these plants will be stunted from being placed in cold soil.

We know that so many of you have become really tired of the long cold winter, and we hope that visiting the greenhouse this weekend, to drink in the sights and smells of spring, will give you a lift.

We will have the coffee on, and a little snack to go with it.  This year we will have a donation jar on the table..  All donations will be channeled through   MCC   to aid the victims of the recent earthquake in Nepal.

Sincerely,
the Steckle Family & the Team at Huron Ridge
