Create a Lasting Legacy at Camp Yawgoog
Yawgoog 100 Memorial Brick Walkway
|
The foresight and generosity of many people has helped Yawgoog to grow and thrive for the past 100 years. To continue that spirit the Rhode Island Boy Scouts have created a special "Yawgoog 100" Endowment Fund. The gifts to the Yawgoog 100 Fund will be permanently restricted, that is, they can never be spent. Only the interest and proceeds will be spent to support Camp Yawgoog.
Memorial Donors to the Yawgoog 100 Fund will be recognized with an engraved brick in a new walkway and flagpole area in the Donald North Court, next to the Bucklin Memorial Lodge.
Like so many before us, now is the time to make your gift to ensure that Yawgoog is available for the next 100 years to those that follow on the Scouting Trail.

We Need Your Yawgoog Photos!
Be a Part of the Yawgoog 100 Yearbook
|
As part of the Yawgoog 100 celebrations we are producing a yearbook for Yawgoog's first 100 years. It will be similar to the yearbook we created for the 75th. We have lots of old, black and white photos of Yawgoog. What we need are newer color photos, between 1970 and 2000. We are looking for identifiable photos of Yawgoog - that is, you can tell they were taken at Yawgoog. Send your best photos with their stories to Joram Northup at the West Bay Scout Shop. We prefer you scan at at least 300 dpi and email them. You could also save to a CD, thumbdrive etc. Call/email Joram for more info. 401.821.7005 or jnorthp@narragansettbsa.org
