Wood Badge Adult Training

Wood Badge is the premier leadership training course offered by the Boy Scouts of America. Simply stated, Wood Badge is advanced leadership training.
Wood Badge is designed for Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Venturing, Sea Scout, and Varsity Leaders at the unit level, as well as district and council leaders. The course content and leadership principles introduced apply to Scouters in all leadership positions. These skills provide common a leadership foundation that is beneficial for all program areas.

Great Outdoor Pursuit

We are once again excited to partner with RI DEM for the 2015 Great Outdoor Pursuit. These free events are a great way for the whole family to get in the outdoors, have fun, and win prizes. The first event is tomorrow at Lincoln Woods and there are numerous other events throughout the summer.
We are especially pleased to be hosting one of their marquee events on July 1st at Camp Champlin. Come visit us at one of the events, and invite a family that might be interested in Scouting!

We are very excited to be celebrating the 100th anniversary of Camp Yawgoog! It is such a huge milestone that it will take 2 years for us to celebrate! This year marks the 100th Camping Season, and 2016 is the Centennial Year. We have a number of events planned to celebrate.
