Zack Daigle
Camp Director - Champlin
 

Zack Daigle will be Camp Director at Cub World and Camp Champlin for the 2015 camping season. He ia an Eagle Scout from Troop 10 Glocester. He is a long time Scouter and has worked on camp staff for the previous 7 years.


 

Zack also works throughout the year for the Council serving as a Program Specialist in our urban Scouting programs.  He is excited to not only be the Cub World Camp Director this summer, but to have the privilege to be at Camp Champlin as well. He can't wait to bring an exciting program and instill memories in the Scouts that will last a lifetime.


 


Will Naylor

Aquapuag, Fall River & Cachalot

Will brings many years of day camp experience to the table as he serves his first year as camp director. He has served as Health Director at Aquapag and Fall River, Range Director at Champlin, and Program Specialist at Cub World.

He also serves year-round as one of our program specialist deliver Scouting programs to youth in Urban school.

Will will serve as director our "traveling" camp team that will run camps at Aquapuag, Fall River and Cachalot this summer, as well as providing support for Cub World. We are excited to have Will as Camp Director!

I am pleased to announce the key staff for the Yawgoog Scout Reservation for our 100th Season! As the second oldest camp in the country, my team and I look forward to continuing the age-old traditions of our beloved camp, as well as introducing some new & exciting opportunities and activities this summer for you and your Scouts. Each of our three camp directors are returning for their second year in their respective positions.

 

Having served 16 years now as your Reservation Director, it is my privilege to welcome you again to experience the uniqueness of our program and world-class facilities. Chris has spent five of his eight years on staff at the Medicine Bow Waterfront and four of those years as the Director. In 2010, Chris was a Program Commissioner at Medicine Bow. This past year he worked as the Reservation Commissioner. Chris is an Eagle Scout from Troop 2 Rowayton, CT. He is finishing his degree in Anthropology/ Sociology at Roger Williams University.

2014 will be Jeff's eight year on the Yawgoog Staff. Jeff started in 2006 at the Medicine Bow Craft Center. He worked at the Craft Center for five years and was the Director from 2008 to 2012. Previously Jeff was the Counselor in Training Scoutmaster, where he worked with more than 30 young Scouts preparing each of them as potential staff at Yawgoog.

Andy has spent his entire six year Yawgoog career at Sandy Beach. He has worked in shooting sports, Camp Craft, as Kitchen Manager, as a Program Commissioner and most recently as the New Frontier Director. Andy is an Eagle Scout from Troop 108 Hazardville, CT. He is currently attending Asnuntuck Community College.

I am pleased to announce the management team at Camp Cachalot this summer. Eric Oulette will once again serve as Camp Director and we are very pleased to welcome back Eric Grady as Program Director. Both of the Eric's are working very hard to ensure an outstanding program this summer.

Brian Arenella
Camp Director
 
Brian Arenella is the Northwest Service Area Director for the Narragansett Council, and also serves as Abnaki Lodge Staff Adviser. Brian previously served as Camp Director of Camp Onway and Lone Tree Scout Reservation and brings many years of camp experience. Brian is a Vigil Honor Member of the OA, and has his Wood Badge beads. In his free time Brian enjoys spending time outdoors hunting, hiking, and fishing.



 

 
Archie Belanger
Program Director

Archie has been involved in Scouting since he joined the Cub Scouts as a youth. His first year on camp staff was in 1984. He has served several years on camp staff, most recently as the Aquatics Director at Cachalot for the last several seasons. 
 

Archie has been active as a Scoutmaster and member of the Cachalot Alumni Association and feels priveleged to serve as Program Director this year!
