Congratulations to our 2013 Friends of Scouting Honor Roll! |
This year the Narragansett Council offered an incentive to our units who reached their unit Friends of Scouting Goal - a year of free rank patches!
We are pleased to announce almost 100 units reached their goal! Congratulations on an outstanding job. Friends of Scouting dollars all stay local, right here in our Council, and go towards supporting the program here locally, eight great camps, two Scout Shops, and local support.

Holiday Family Fun Day at Yawgoog

Come join us for a great outdoor event for the whole family. This is also a great opportunity to introduce new families to Scouting. All Scouts, parents and siblings are welcome to attend. We will also have registration tables to have your new Scout sign up on the day of the event.
We will have crafts for the kids, hot chocolate, a hay ride, antique tractors, field games, and pictures with Santa. We will have lunch and candy canes too!
This is a FREE event! The Trading Post will be open for snacks and souvenirs.

Registration is now open for the 2014 Belt Loop College! This event allows Cub Scouts and Webelos to learn new skills, earn up to 4 belt loops, and have fun! This year we are also offering Webelos Activity Badges and Academic Pins. Fee includes lunch and each boy will receive his belt loops and/or activity badges that day! Join us for an outstanding day of fun and learning!

Registration for our ever-popular winter overnight programs is now open!
Ever wonder what happens to the Museum of Science at night? Discover science in an entertaining, educational, and interactive way through experiments, a Theater of Electricity Lightning! show, an Omni film, and much more. Plus, where else do you have a chance to sleep under a dinosaur or a giant grasshopper?
Space is limited so be sure to register early. You may attend as a Pack or Individually.
