Tips for Successful Take Order Sales |
Take Order Sales are the most effective and successful way to sell Popcorn. Scouts and Units who put an emphasis on Take Order Sales make more sales and have a higher per sale dollar average than Show & Sell. Here are some tips for successful Take Order Sales:
- Statistics show 3 out of 5 houses will buy popcorn.
- Not evey house will buy, so dont be discouraged!
- The more people you ask, the more people will buy.
- Wear your uniform and be polite. Dont walk on lawns.
- Tell them what the money will be for (camping trip, new tents, etc)
- Know what kinds of popcorn you are selling and when you will deliver it.
- If no one is home write a letter (make copies) explaining the popcorn sale and why you are selling and how to get in touch with you (parents phone/email)
- Tape a thank you note to the container of popcorn when you deliver it. Write a generic one and make copies.
Ways to Sell Take Order
Follow these simple methods to sell Take Order. Spend a just a few hours and you can fill a sheet and make $600 dollars.
- Ask you parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins
- Visit all of the houses on your street
- Ask at your hair salon, insurance agent, gym, etc
- Ask Mom & Dad to take the form to work
- Sell to Mom & Dad's friends
- Ask to sell at your church or place of worship
