By now I hope you've had some time to relax and you have emptied all of the popcorn out of your garage, dining room, living room, or all of the above! I'd like to take a quick moment to thank everyone for all of their hard work and dedication to this year's sale.

 

Not only did you do well this year, you did outstanding! This year our sale brought in around $450,000! That's over $315,000 dollars returned to local Scouting! Over half of our units selling saw an increase in their sales. About 30 of them with double digit percentage increases. That's money that will help pay for countless weekend campouts, trips to high adventure bases, camping gear, Pack outings and scholarship assistance to local Scouts. This was done in a very difficult economy.

 

More importantly, the money you earned will help ensure a strong and vital Scouting program - and that thousands of young people will benefit from the values and life lessons of the Scouting program. That being said, I once again congratulate you and look forward to an even better sale next year!
