Community & Entertainment Happenings:
Today marks the last day of April, and May will be welcomed with sunshine and blue skies this weekend. Here's what's happening: Cirque Du Soleil "Varekai" continues at the Spokane Arena through Sunday. Today, Riedel Wine Tasting at Studio 107, Cinco de Mayo Goes Veggie Cooking Class at Pilgrim's Market and The Wild and Scenic Film Festival at the Garland Theater. Friday evening, it's Jazz Under the Stars at Central Valley High School, First Friday Spokane, The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940 presented by The Modern Theater Coeur d'Alene, which continues all weekend long, and Jazz Festival at Spokane Falls Community College. The Coeur d'Alene Symphony Season Finale is this Friday and Saturday at the KROC Center. Also this Saturday is the IBU Big Brew Day at Nu Home Brew and Bottles. This Sunday is the big Bloomsday race.
