Community & Entertainment Happenings:
The month of April is going out with a bang with these local happenings: Today, there's the Best Western Chili Cook-Off at Coeur d'Alene Inn, the Spring Wine Tasting at The Cellar, and a Tagine Cooking Class at The Culinary Stone. Friday, support the Spokane Valley Fire Department by attending the Cask and Keg Fundraiser at Arbor Crest Winery. Saturday, the annual Spokane Cork Keg and Spirits Festival will be at Max at Mirabeau. Sunday, sit back and relax at a Saviah Wine Tasting, and later that evening, there's Trickster's Six Course Beer Dinner, both at 315 Restaurant at the Greenbriar Inn. Tonight through Saturday, it's the Wine Extravaganza Weekend at the Coeur d'Alene Resort, and Friday through Sunday is the Spring Antique and Collector Sale at the Spokane Fair and Expo Center. Tuesday, you can attend the Cinco De Mayo Cooking Class at The Culinary Stone to prepare for your May 5th festivities, and be sure to get your tickets now for Cirque Du Soleil "Varekai" at Spokane Arena Wednesday.
