'Summer's Best Tradition' celebrates Kootenai County's 150th Anniversary with Dustin Lynch Concert, Xtreme Bulls, 3 PRCA Rodeos, Demolition Derby, Lady Houdini, Wild West Shoot Out, Play with Gravity, and the largest carnival in the state! Gates are open 9am to 11:30pm daily at Kootenai County Fairgrounds. Admission is $9 for adults, $7 for children and seniors, free for children 5 and younger. Parking is $3. The Gathering at the Falls PowWow is a unique cultural gathering. Dancers and singers of all ages come from both near and far to showcase their songs and their dance styles for the community. Last year, this event was cancelled,and this year, community members have re-dedicated themselves to the event's true purpose to ensure that this celebration comes back to fruition.  The National Lentil Festival is Pullman's original food and brew fest. Pullman is located in the Palouse region, which produces the highest quality lentils grown in the world. Every year, the legendary Lentil Cook-off receives creative and delicious recipes that use their favorite legume, the lentil. Sat. Sept. 13th ~ 6th Annual Save the One Suicide Prevention / Awareness Walk, CdA
Join SPAN North Idaho (Suicide Prevention Action Network) today for their 6th Annual Save the One Suicide Prevention/Awareness Walk. Registration starts at 9 am, walk starts at 10. The walk begins at O'Shay's parking lot and is a 3.8-mile walk along the Centennial Trail. The event is free, but with a $10 donation you will get a T-shirt.
