Thurs. July 17th ~ 8th Annual Children's Summer Creativity Series at Dahmen Barn, Uniontown
The eighth annual Children's Summer Creativity Program kicked off today. On six consecutive Thursday afternoons from 1 to 3:45pm, children between ages 6 and 12 enjoy two topics with a healthy snack in between. Cost is just $15 each afternoon. Thurs. July 17th ~ Cherry Pickers' Trot, Green Bluff
Head out to Green Bluff tonight with the kids for a summer evening of family and fun for all ages!! Contestants compete in the largest Pit Spitting event this side of the Rockies for the longest distance of the Cherry Pit Spit! Even the little folks will have fun in the free Tot Trot. There will be live music, a hamburger/hotdog feed, cherry pies and other delicious goodies, plus family friendly fun for everyone! The fun begins at 5pm. Mon. July 21st ~ Kids Cooking Class at Gourmet Way, Hayden
Looking for summer activities for the kids? Sign up for cooking classes at Gourmet Way where they can enjoy learning the art of cooking fun nutritious food. Fri. July 18th ~ 32nd Anniversary Celebration at Latah Creek Wine Cellars, Spokane Valley

Sat. July 19th ~ 5th Annual SpoKenya Run/Walk
 This Saturday, July 19th, marks the 5th Annual SpoKenya Run/Walk, a race for clean water. Participants can run or walk the 7k loop (4.3 miles), and jogging strollers are welcome. The race takes off at Life Center Church at 9am. SpoKenya expo and packet pick-up Friday, July 18th, 3 to 7pm and Saturday, July 19th, 7 to 8:30am. Registration is $20 and closes on July 13th.
