The annual Ironman Coeur d'Alene is this Sunday, bringing in more than 2,000 athletes from around the world to compete in this challenging race, participating in a 2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike course and 26.2-mile run. This Saturday kicks off the 2014 Summer Concert Series at Merry Cellars in Pullman with local singer/songwriter Andru Gomez. Coeur d'Alene Cellars is offering something new and exciting this summer: Murder Mysteries on the Patio. CDA Murder Mystery Theatre is a little bit of traditional theatre mixed with a dinner party atmosphere. Characters are introduced, a murder occurs, questions and clues arise, the audience has a chance to guess who dunnit, and the mystery is eventually solved. Audience members watch scenes performed by experienced actors interspersed with sessions of the evening during which the characters mingle amongst the crowd. Saturday, July 19th, marks the 5th Annual SpoKenya Run/Walk, a race for clean water. Participants can run or walk the 7k loop (4.3 miles), and jogging strollers are welcome.
