The official start to summer is just days away, and there are numerous events and happenings for you to enjoy and welcome the start of the summer season: Sandpoint's Annual Artwalk kicks off Friday evening; Battle of the Bulls at the Bonner County Fairground in Sandpoint Saturday; Coeur d'Alene Cellars hosts its Annual Garden Party Sunday; Northwest Best Brewfest is happening Saturday at the Nez Perce County Fairgrounds in Lewiston; there's the Tri-State Hospital Foundation's ChipShot Classic at Clarkston Golf and Country Club Saturday; and don't forget about the BBQ Seasonings Cooking Class at Gourmet Way in Hayden Saturday. Sat. June 21st ~ Tri-State Hospital Foundation's ChipShot Classic
 The ChipShot Classic is a four-person scramble golf tournament which takes place annually at the picturesque Clarkston Golf and Country Club. Participants enjoy breakfast and endless snacks and beverages on the course, as well as 18 holes of golf. There are challenging contests, a tournament souvenir, steak barbecue and awards ceremony, and the chance to win thousands of dollars in prizes. Cost is $95 per person, $380 per team. Fri. June 20th ~ Sandpoint Annual Artwalk Opening Receptions
Don't forget about Sandpoint's 37th Annual ArtWalk revolving art exhibit! Opening receptions will take place in about 20 downtown Sandpoint business locations starting at 5:30pm tomorrow. Artwalk is an annual summer-time tradition where local businesses and galleries join with Pend Oreille Art Council to provide exciting art exhibits in Sandpoint's downtown core. Each participating location will host the juried exhibits from late June through early September. Click here for participating venues.

Sat. June 21st ~ Northwest Best BrewFest, Lewiston
 This Saturday, 2 to 10pm, at the Nez Perce County Fairgrounds, the whole family is invited to this year's annual Northwest Best Bewfest. Now of course only those 21 and older can enjoy the brews, but there is plenty of fun for all. Live music and food, and for those interested, there are free rides home! Cheers to that! Support our Troops at the annual Battle of the Bulls event. Enjoy a barbecue and Dutch Oven Cooking Contest at 2pm, with judging taking place at 4pm. Grand entry is at 6:45pm, and the first bull bucks at 7pm. Veterans receive $2 off their tickets with ID. And there is a dance following the performance featuring Devon Wade Band.
