Opening on October 10, the most anticipated exhibition of the fall season takes visitors on a journey from Venice to Paris, and North Africa to the West Indies, through more than 130 works by Canadian expatriate artists, James Wilson Morrice and John Lyman, and the French master of colour, Henri Matisse

See the exhibition Charles Edenshaw before the national tour comes to a close on September 21. The first retrospective of Edenshaw's work, it features eighty exquisite objects, including gold and silver jewellery, masks, and carved model totem poles.

This week-long session will provide a unique opportunity to experience Killarney with renowned en plein air watercolour master, William Rogers.

Wednesdays, September 24 to October 29, 6 to 9 pm
This class introduces participants to drawing with pencils, water soluble pencils, cont�, and charcoal, and addresses fundamental drawing techniques. 
ARTVENTURE CHILDREN'S ART CLASSES
Saturdays, September 20 to November 15, 10 am to 12 pm
Divided into three groups - Art Explorers, Art Seekers, and Art Apprentices - children explore the McMichael's collection and outdoor trails, while engaging in art making.
Wednesdays, September 24 to November 12, 4 to 6 pm
Designed for all skill levels, these classes engage participants in progressive projects based on art and nature themes.
FAMILY PROGRAMS
Saturday, September 27 and Sunday, September 28
Experience the McMichael with tours, talks, art workshops, and outdoor hikes. Don`t miss a special presentation on the 2014 Art Mentorship Project. Admission is FREE! 
Sunday, October 12, 11 am to 3 pm
Capture Caribbean culture with drop-in oil pastel workshops, and experience the sounds of the West Indies with steel-band performances at 12 pm and 2 pm. 
Adventure of a Maple Leaf - Accessible Family Program
Saturday, October 18, 1 to 3 pm
This accessible family workshop combines an outdoor discovery walk, studio activities, dramatic play, and social enjoyment accommodating the various needs of participants.
