Enough
Do we live in a world of abundance, or do we live in a world of scarcity? Is there enough recourses, ingenuity, and ability that we can feed people and meet basic human needs throughout the world, or is there simply not enough for everyone, and we had best get our share? The Bible makes the radical claim that God created the world and called it good. Yet, while God proclaims the goodness of creation, Pharaoh dreams of famine and organizes to administer, control, and monopolize the food supply. Pharaoh is the first in the Bible to claim, "There's not enough. Let's get everything."
The story is told of the German pastor, Martin Niemoller, who, after hearing Adolf Hitler speak in 1933, told his wife, "I discovered that Herr Hitler is a terribly frightened man."
Like Pharaoh, and Hitler after him, people who fear that there aren't enough good things to go around try to have them all - and when people are fearful, they become ruthless.
So which is it.... are you worried that you will run out? Worried that there is not enough? Or, like the lilies of the field, do you trust the goodness of God?

The menu for March 5 is Salisbury Steak topped with Mushroom and Onion Gravy, Buttered Corn, Baked Potato with all the fixings (top your own with sour cream, bacon bits, cheese, and chives). Dessert compliments of Annie's Restaurant.
Registration must be received by noon TODAY! There will be a re-cap every Wednesday morning in Hunt Chapel at 10 am.

FAITH CONCERT SERIES
MARCH 10

Faith Concert Series - Our popular piano duo, Stella Zedro (a Faith member) and Mary Vigor Hicks, returns on March 10 at 4:00 p.m. This year's program includes works by Mozart, Copland, and deFalla, as well as excerpts from Gershwin's Piano Concerto in F and the last movement of Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in the church office. Be sure to come and enjoy this talented duo.

Sponsor a Vocal or Handbell Anthem - Faith Choir and Faith Ringers will be offering the following new anthems in March. If you would like to sponsor one of these anthems in honor or in memory of someone, please contact Michael Helman at the Church office or email him at michael@faithcapecoral.org. The donation for a choral anthem is $100 and for a handbell piece is $75.00. These donations help our music program to offer a varied selection of new music for worship.

Easter Sunday - "Christ the Lord Is Risen" - J. S. Bach. A chorus from Bach's Magnificat has been arranged by Tom Fettke with an Easter text.
Handbell Anthems - Easter Sunday: "Easter Joy" - arr. Michael Helman. This joyful arrangement of Easter hymns will include our brass quintet.
