This went out to our "presenter" list, but if you are not, we'd love to see you if you are going to
be in Philadelphia or New York for the annual IPAY conference or APAP conference and Showcases. Our showcases are on Friday night 1/11/13 with Jodi Kaplan/Booking Dance within the time bloc given. Please see the cards below for a few images and more details. More information about the amazing 6 hour showcase content on BookingDance.com. The showcase is free for presenters (you don't need to be registered to the APAP conference, but you would need to show a card), and all others can purchase tickets for $10-$50 dollars. **************************************************************************************************** |
We are thrilled that our first on-line fund raising project for 'Tap Dance Widows Club' on USA Projects was achieved ( you can still see the video and project description), but we are still hoping for additional donations for our school projects and performances you see described on the East Coast. In January we continue with curriculum programs at Frederick Douglass Academy Middle and High Schools and begin a new one at Selma Elementary in Hollywood. We also begin new after school programs at Vine Street, Los Feliz, and Sylmar Elementary. Please consider donating through our own web site. It helps all of us give back and strengthen the community we are a part of. I was looking at some of our older videos and saw a former company dancer that had attended Los Feliz El as a student. I remember how excited he was to then be a part of it when we did a residency and performed there. Inspiration and the gift of an arts program that helps you define who you are should be available for all youth (and older too!). We are a non-profit, all donations are tax deductible, and our ID# is 95-3509028. Thank you in advance.
