In Conjunction with this, our first USA Artist Fund Raising Project
On November 16-18 we will be returning to the Miles Memorial Playhouse for the official premier of "Tap Dance Widows Club", and other pieces for the "Baggage Project". It will be sold out as our first "in progress" was there, and tickets are now on sale. Please add it to your calendar NOW!

And in conjunction with this - Our First Fundraising USA Project

We are pleased and very excited to announce our very first fundraising USA Project.

The project: "Tap Dance Widows Club/ The Baggage Project, Multiple dance forms in a unique multimedia piece using the power of Dance, an inside story from 30's Hollywood to now, inspired by a death."

Please come see the work, and please help us fund it. Click the line above!!

We only have 19 days left to raise $5,000 (we are up to $2,970) or we can't access the funds.

Thank you in advance-

The three tap dance widows are Loretta Zerby (widow of Jon), Katherine Hopkins Nicholas (widow of Fayard), and Louise Reichlin (widow of Alfred Desio). Above is a screen shot from the June presentation Louise did at the Dance USA conference. You can see dancers as well from the opening dance section. I am thankful that we recorded the 'conversations' with the three of us in 2011, as Katherine recently passed away. The work, like life, is both joyous and sad, and combined intimate portraits of the three men who were amazing dancers, with our combined worlds of dance. We have changed it a bit from our preview, but  below is a sample from the preview.

Special Thanks

Special thanks to you for your support!
Please continue to contribute and consider raising the amount if you are able. The USA Artist Project above must raise the $5,000 or we can't access the funds. The Los Angeles County Arts Commission and DCA City of Los Angeles grants are both matching grants. We will be showcasing in New York in January, and are also fund raising for that.
Our school activities funded by Don Knabe's Educational Partnership Grant need matching funds. Our residency funded by Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas has now finished, but your funds can take us to another location in that district! We will be starting a new school school project in partnership with the Hollywood Arts Council, also funded in part by Eric Garcetti, LA City Council District 13.
Please visit the USA Project above, or our website to make your donation.
