A National Historic Landmark and Illinois Nature Preserve
Dear Friend of The Grove,
Come on out to The Grove this winter to enjoy a refreshing walk in the woods, or stay warm in the Interpretive Center with a variety of programs for visitors of all ages. Learn about hawks and owls in our Science Room, try your hand at nature photography or bring your little ones out to learn about bears, turtles and frogs. And, it's not too early to be thinking about summer... The Grove offers camp opportunities for kids of all ages. Take a look at the slideshow below to see how much fun our campers have!

GROVE ARRIVAL DAY

Join us at 2 pm on Sunday, March 8th at the Glenview Public Library, 1930 Glenview Rd., to celebrate GROVE ARRIVAL DAY! Costumed interpreters will be on hand with activities for the whole family to commemorate the day Dr. John Kennicott arrived at The Grove with his family in 1836.

Homeschool Week 2015 Back by popular demand...Homeschool Week at The Grove, Air Station Prairie and Wagner Farm. From March 9-13, 2015, homeschoolers can experience a week of hands-on historical, environmental and agricultural programming!

Enjoy the award-winning artwork of painter, sculptor and author Dennis Downes, whose work will be on exhibit at The Redfield Estate March 19-22. New this year: a large scale Trail Marker Tree Exhibit which was recently featured at the Illinois State Museum. Admission is free and a portion of all sales support the Grove.
