Unless Bible-believing Christians become involved, the San Antonio City Council is fast tracking special rights for homosexuals on the basis of their deviant sexual behavioral and gender-bending choices. The proposed language would include "sexual orientation and gender identity" as protected classes.
This is one of the few "tame" pictures of homosexual men
in sodomite parades across the country.As we speak, the Alamo City is one of the last major Texas cities which has not completely caved to the radical homosexual agenda.
Today, Tuesday, May 21st, I challenge you to attend an important Governance Committee in the San Antonio City Hall located at 114 West Commerce Street, San Antonio, TX 78205.

While the meeting officially starts at 1:30 p.m., Christians are urged to arrive by
12 noon if possible in light of the crowd of atheists and homosexuals who are likely to show up in favor of this perverse proposal.
As a direct result of similar changes in city ordinances and charters across America:
* Transvestite men have been allowed in the women's restroom in restaurants and city parks.
A transvestite man, like this one, might be able to go into the bathroom with
your daughters and granddaughters if this ordinance passes in San Antonio.
* A Catholic adoption agency had to shut down because they wouldn't allow homosexuals to adopt children. (To do so would be a violation of their conscience.)
* Pastors have been threatened with jail because they boldly chose to preach the whole counsel of God including the Biblical passages on homosexual behavior.
* A photographer was forced to pay a $7,000 fine plus court costs for declining to take pictures at a homosexual "wedding."
The meeting of the Governance Committee, at the request of San Antonio City Councilman Diego Bernal of District 1 is the prelude to granting special rights to sodomy at the City Council meeting on Thursday, May 30th.

Bernal's request also calls for the city of San Antonio to create a "Human Rights Commission" to investigate "discrimination" complaints.
If a "Human Rights Commission" were to be set up as well, the proposed ordinance would become an even more dangerous legal sword that would undermine First Amendment freedom of speech as well as to attack and cripple our religious liberty. Businesses which embrace a traditional Judeo-Christian morality would become hamstrung dealing with litigation triggered by allegations of discrimination based on "sexual orientation" and "gender identity."
If we do not have a large turnout today at at 12 noon, the City of San Antonio will receive the false impression that there is more public support for the sodomite position.
Back in the summer of 2011, the leading homosexual groups of San Antonio formed the Community Alliance for a United San Antonio or CAUSA. It includes members representing the Stonewall Democrats, Equality Texas, the LGBT Chamber of Commerce, the Metropolitan Community Church, GetEqual, and the Human Rights Campaign. They are extremely motivated to pack the San Antonio City Hall today as they all dress in red.
Sadly, San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro, who has grand political aspirations, has bought into every aspect of the homosexual agenda for political expediency.
As you know, he was the first San Antonio mayor to participate as Grand Marshall of the Sodomite Rights Parade of San Antonio. Unbelievably, the same man who considers himself to be a "good Catholic", declared, "To equate lesbians and gays with something immoral is just wrong."

3. Attend the San Antonio Governance Committee Meeting TODAY, Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at 12 noon at the City Hall chambers located at 114 West Commerce Street, San Antonio, TX 78205.
While the meeting officially starts at 1:30 p.m., it is critical to come quite early to get a seat. The meeting will last about 2 hours.
You will be given a special sticker which you can wear identifying our opposition to this proposed ordinance. Do NOT wear any red clothing which is what the homosexuals and atheists will be wearing!
Directions: From 281/1604, take 281 South to Commerce Street. Take a right on Commerce Street until it intersects with Flores (about 1 mile down). Take a right on Flores and then an immediate right into the entrance of the Frost Bank parking lot. The address of the City Council is 114 West Commerce Street, San Antonio, TX 78205. Look for the 15-foot high clock. That is where the entrance is to the City Council chambers.
4. Attend a press conference after the San Antonio Governance Committee concludes. Tentatively, Voices For Marriage, headed up by Pastor Gerald Ripley, plans to host a press conference afterwards as well. Please consider standing behind Pastor Ripley to demonstrate your support in front of the TV cameras and photographers. You will not need to make a statement since Pastor Ripley is the spokesman.
6. If at all possible, clear your calendar now for the Thursday, May 30th San Antonio City Council meeting between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. during which we will have the opportunity to speak out during "Citizens to Be Heard." That is the meeting during which they will take a vote on granting special rights to sodomites and cross dressers.
