Resolutions

Thus far, 2014 in WNC has centered around keeping warm. But don't forget those New Year's resolutions you made during balmier days! Whether you are trying to get fit or do more for your community, the 2-1-1 database has resources to help you reach your goals.

Around the 2-1-1 Call Center, resolutions include "getting more active," "getting my cholesterol under control" and "eating fewer sweets."And since getting healthy topped our list, we combed through the database for resources to help you find gyms, swimming pools and other places to get physically fit.

If your resolutions are not health related check out the articles below for some others resources or call 2-1-1 to start your brand new year!

Museums

This year you have a simple goal. To learn more about the community you are in. You have a few guidelines:  You don't want to learn from a book or a website and you don't want to spend too much money.

Lucky you. The 2-1-1 database has referrals that can get you closer to your goal AND meet all your requirements. You may think cool museums are only located in big cities, but we can tell you that WNC has a lot of interesting places to learn about our area and the world we belong to. Whether you are looking for history museums, children's museums or anything in between, call 2-1-1 for some guidance.
