MinistryLink - SEPA Synod ELCA   Resources to help you be a more effective church leader. / July 14, 2016
Registration Open for Money, Mission and Media
You can now register for Money, Mission and Media, a collaborative conversation about the challenges and fresh opportunities the 21st Century poses for the church. Hosted by the Synod, the Presbytery of Philadelphia, and Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia on Sept. 27, 10 am to 3 pm, at the seminary. At the forefront of these changes are questions about stewardship, mission, and the ever-evolving world of social media and technology. Our guides are Adam Copeland, director of stewardship leadership at Luther Seminary; Mihee Kim-Kort, a minister to college students, and Keith Anderson, pastor of Upper Dublin Lutheran Church and author of The Digital Cathedral.
Lutheran Basics With Dr. Timothy Wengert
Just in time to celebrate the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation, LTSP offers a lifelong learning course with Dr. Timothy Wengert explaining what the big deal was -- and is -- about Martin Luther's theology. September 6, 13, 20 and 27, on campus or online. $70 per individual, $125 for up to 8 people from one congregation.

Last Call for ELCA Grace Gathering
Registration for the ELCA Grace Gathering closes July 17. Reserve your spot today. The Gathering is in partnership with the 2016 Churchwide Assembly in New Orleans Aug. 10-13. The gathering will bring people together from across the ELCA to worship with voting members, engage in experiential learning and attend a variety of workshops that focus on Reformation history, 500th anniversary observances and the Lutheran witness in action today.
