'We Are Not Alone'
"What these ashes say on our foreheads is that, even in the worst part of our lives, we are not alone," says the Rev. Violet Little. Be inspired by video from Welcome Church's 2013 Ash Wednesday service, with Little's homily and offerings of poem and song, on our website at http://ministrylink.org/dust-is-not-final-word/

Help Shelter Women at 'The Well'
Welcome Church is collaborating with ecumenical partners to provide nighttime housing for women experiencing homelessness downtown. The Well will offer a place for gathering and renewal for 6-12 women each night from Feb. 14 to April 30. Your help is needed to prepare the shelter and offer ongoing support - providing equipment and supplies, or offering an evening meal or activity with the women. Prayers are always needed.

But how to handle issues like: How do I get permission? How about pictures of children? Copyrights? Communication director Bob Fisher offers best practices and insights from congregations in a new guide at http://ministrylink.org/using-images-in-your-churchs-communications/
