Dear youth and parents,
As we prepare for the Good News on Easter Sunday, I wanted to share a note from Jessica Vacketta about some good news from our Prom Dreams ministry that I received yesterday:
"Just a little joy for you on this Good Friday. Last night, at Prom Dreams, 21 dresses were distributed to young women. If you'll recall, we distributed around 45 our first year (two years ago). In two sessions this year we have already passed out 36 dresses! This ministry is alive and well and thriving."
This ministry is really starting to catch on in the community, and I'm thankful for all the youth and adults who have helped make it possible. If you're interested in helping with Prom Dreams this year, contact Jessica and she will be happy to get you connected.

Easter Sunday: Youth programs take a break this weekend

Register for summer camps and mission trips on April 7
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  The easiest way to register for summer camps and mission trips will be our Camp Registration Sunday on April 7. Sharyn Peterson will be set up in Fellowship Hall from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and again from 6-7 p.m. with plenty of blank registration forms and tally sheets. Registering that day ensures that you make the early bird deadline, saving $130 off the regular registration price. Donate or volunteer for the upcoming Garage Sale
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  ~ Spring cleaning time is fast approaching, so let UCC help you clean out your house for a good cause! Donate your items to the UCC Garage Sale benefitting our youth program. Preview sale is Friday, April 12 and sale day is Saturday, April 13. Donations will be accepted beginning this Sunday, March 3. Large item pick-up will be available again this year (though we cannot accept large appliances). Please consider donating your tax-deductible items and/or your time.
