Hurricane Relief
Help us support the victims of hurricane Sandy The Green Tortoise would like to extend a helping hand to our East Coast friends and family who recently suffered through the devastating power of super-storm Sandy. We are donating 5% of each Baja fare booked from now until Nov. 20th (new bookings only). This doesn't cost you a cent, but you can feel great about giving to the community. Together, we can make a big difference!
Choose from the non-profit organizations listed below, or let us know your preferred organization and we'll make sure to get your sponsored contribution to them. Please mention "hurricane Sandy relief efforts" when booking.

For seasoned Baja travelers and first timers alike, the tranquility of the desert combined with the magical Sea of Cortez is enough to be transported into a different realm. This year there is an added bonus: after a three-year, landscape-scorching drought, the skies opened up and torrential downpours soaked the desert repeatedly for two months. The desert sprang to life, sprouting lush green vegetation, a multitude of brightly colored flowers, and seed-bearing fruits. The desert inhabitants are back also -- song birds, hummingbirds, foxes and coyotes are busy making up for the dry years. This is a perfect time to see Baja like you've never seen it before!
Warning: relaxation is imminent here and with this new state of being, you'll be able to enjoy some optional activities like kayaking, mule or horseback riding, hot spring soaking, whale watching and snorkeling. Can't get away until after the holidays? No worries! Hop on our Gold Coast Loop in January. |
A journey is best measured in friends, rather than miles.
