Share your priorities for regional prevention of invasive mussels
The northwest is one of the last regions in North America that has not yet been infected by invasive freshwater mussels, but it will take a concentrated regional effort to prevent the environmental and economic impacts of an infestation.
We will host a workshop on November 21 to help coordinate efforts taking place throughout the Northwest, and identify the path forward for a bi-national, multi-jurisdictional approach to preventing invasive zebra and quagga mussels from infesting Northwest waters.
To better inform this workshop we need your input. Please help us prioritize the necessary pieces of a regional prevention framework. We are asking all interested parties, not just those who can attend the November 21 event, to help identify the priorities by filling out the following survey: http://pnweris.questionpro.com
