About The Sessions
PNWER will host the Winter Meeting in conjunction with two other conferences, including the Converge@Seattle Innovation Summit and an Invasive Species Workshop. Several of our working groups will also meet, including Ocean & Energy, Transportation & Market Access, Workforce, and Energy & Environment. A special session, Disaster Resilience for Legislators, will also be held during the Winter Meeting.

NOTE: A special Arctic Session is also being planned to discuss regional Arctic priorities.

Energy and Environment
Join the Energy and Environment working group at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 20th. The working group will discuss the PNWER Roadmap to NetZero Construction and Deep-Retrofits by 2030. The session will feature stakeholders in the regional energy efficiency field as they collaborate on the importance of energy efficiency in the Pacific Northwest's future.

The PNWER Roadmap to NetZero highlights the following benefits of energy efficiency:
  • Affordable energy bills for consumers.
  • Demand for research, advanced knowledge, manufacturing and construction jobs in both rural and urban communities.
  • Increase productivity and competitiveness across the built environment.
  • Provide long-term resilience to the PNWER region.
