THE NORTHWEST IS ONE OF THE LAST REGIONS IN NORTH AMERICA that has not yet been infected by invasive freshwater mussels, but it will take a concentrated regional effort to prevent the environmental and economic impacts of an infestation.

Please join us for this workshop to help coordinate efforts taking place throughout the Northwest, and identify the path forward for a bi-national, multi-jurisdictional approach to preventing invasive zebra and quagga mussels from infesting Northwest waters.

This working session will identify next steps for developing a perimeter strategy for partnerships to prevent the spread of fresh water invasive mussels into the region.
