Lessons Learned from Hurricane Isaac
|
Even long after response is complete, recovery is still underway. Nowhere has the long-term nature of recovery been more apparent then in the Gulf states where recent hurricanes have tested and improved recovery planning. What can we learn about post-disaster recovery based on the experiences in Louisiana? How can recovery in the Gulf help with the development of recovery plans in the Puget Sound Region?
We invite participants from the public and private sectors, non-profits, community organizations, and anyone who has a role in disaster recovery to join us for this engaging discussion of the community's role in long-term recovery and the partnerships required to succeed.
