2014 Conference Summary

Following the spirit of the event's tagline, "EDUCATE, EMPLOY, EMPOWER," PNWAEC 2014 will focus on empower topics. The premiere 2010 conference was structured to educate a range of apprenticeship topics to varied stakeholders. In 2012 we hosted a smaller event that focused on employ topics. This event will concentrate on empowerment in these areas:
  • K12 connections
  • College and career pathways for workforce development
  • Apprenticeship is a good business model
  • Diversifying the workforce
  • Transitioning veterans to the trades
  • Apprenticeship opportunities for tribal members
  • Apprentice success stories
  • Explore cross-border opportunities in the region

April 14, 2014: Pre-Conference Registration and Networking Reception 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

April 15, 2014: Full Day Conference

PNWER is partnering with the Pacific Northwest Apprenticeship Education Conference to bring you   leaders and experts from around the region to hear best practices and explore strategies for strengthening apprenticeship, while also showcasing what the region has to offer for our world-class skilled workers.
