Annual Summit Host Committee
Planning Calendar
|
Plans for the PNWER Whistler Summit this July are going very well but we need your input to make sure that B.C. companies are highlighted in the agenda.
Several more meetings are planed for the B.C. Host Committee, co-chaired by Norm Letnick, Parliamentary Secretary to the Premier, and Marcia Smith,
Senior Vice President, Sustainability & External Affairs,
Teck Resources Limited.
- Feb. 28th
- April 11th
- May 16th
All the meetings will be held from 12:00pm -1:30pm in downtown Vancouver (location TBA). Please mark your calendars. Detailed agendas will be sent out two weeks before the meetings.
To create a successful summit, we need assistance from B.C.'s public and private sector leadership. Please offer recommendations on programming, speakers, and outreach with the B.C. business community via the survey linked below. Now is the perfect time to showcase issues important to you and your industry. Over 500 regional business and government leaders will attend the Summit July 20 - 24.

Recruiting local B.C. organizations as Summit sponsors is critical to ensuring a successful program. The Host Committee recommends organizations that would benefit from participating in the Summit.
Please review the potential sponsor list available here and feel free to contact them about the sponsorship opportunity of the Whistler Summit. Click here to view the sponsorship packet mailed to each company.
If you do have a successful conversation with a potential sponsor, please include Megan Levy in a follow-up email (megan@pnwer.org); she will manage sponsor fulfillment and recognition. If you have any questions on sponsorship, feel free to contact Megan, Matt or Jennifer.

We rely on subcommittees to provide guidance and local expertise on various aspects of the summit.
We very much appreciate the work and time subcommittee members dedicate to creating a successful event. We are searching for more members for each of these committees. Each subcommittee holds monthly conference calls. If you would like to be part of the next call, please email Jennifer@pnwer.org.
