You are invited to take part in the Phase 2 regional exercise of the Puget Sound Regional Maritime Transportation Disaster Recovery Exercise Program. The exercise will take place in downtown Taco-ma at the Greater Tacoma Convention & Trade Center on Wednesday, February 12th.
This phase of the project will enable the members Puget Sound maritime transportation community (Ports of Olympia, Tacoma, Seattle, and Everett) to advance their capabilities to reinstate their re-spective operations quickly after a major earthquake. Phase II centers on the design, conduct, and evaluation of a regional exercise engaging the ports in USCG Sector Puget Sound, their customers/operators, their surrounding communities, and regional stakeholders to examine the larger regional interdependencies.
