• San Diego Human Dignity Foundation Buys Building of Two LGBTQ Non-Profits
  San Diego Human Dignity Foundation has bought the building housing two beloved LGBTQ organizations - the Diversionary Theatre and San Diego Lambda Archives - in order to fix their facility costs and allow both to focus on their work.

• "Accelerating Acceptance"
  GLAAD released a report on the state of public acceptance of LGBTQ people in our time.

• Get Yr Rights Toolkit
  
  BreakOUT and Streetwise and Safe has released an advocacy toolkit for LGBTQ youth and organizations confronting police harassment.

• New Initiative to Prevent LGBTQ Youth Homelessness
  
  The True Colors Fund and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development is launching an initiative in Texas and Ohio to prevent LGBTQ youth homelessness.

• "A National Crisis: Anti-Transgender Violence"
  
  The Human Rights Campaign and Trans People of Color Coalition have released a report on anti-transgender violence.

• "Worth the Risk: Coming Out as LGBT in School Contributes to Well-Being"
  
  A new study finds that LGBT youth who come out at school report more positive adjustment as young adults, have higher self-esteem, and lower levels of depression.

• "Beyond 4 Walls and a Roof: Addressing Trans Youth Homelessness"
  
  Center for American Progress has released a report on the experiences, demographics and contributing factors of transgender youth experiencing homelessness, including recommendations.

• "Funding Free Knowledge The Wiki Way"
  
  This new report by the Paris-based Lafayette Practice is a comparative review of the Wikimedia Foundation's grantmaking practices, situating the work of the Foundation within a larger field of practice in philanthropy called Participatory Grantmaking.

• American Psychological Foundation 
  American Psychological Foundation has released a request for proposals for its $15,000 Wayne F. Placek Grants to support empirical research on any topic related to lesbian, gay, or bisexual issues within the fields of behavioral and social sciences. The deadline is March 1, 2015. • Social Justice Fund Northwest 
  Social Justice Fund Northwest has announced six grant cycles to open in 2015, including a portfolio for Gender Justice groups and a portfolio for General Support for groups in the region. The deadline for both RFP's is March 19, 2015. For more information,  click here.

• LEAGUE Foundation LGBT Scholarship Program 
  The LEAGUE Foundation LGBT Scholarship Program is now open for high school senior student applicants online. The application deadline for scholarships is April 30, 2015 and awards will be dispersed in the summer of 2015. For more information, click here.

Recent Grant Award Announcements

• Gill Foundation Awards $100k Grant to Confront Cyber Bullying
  Gill Foundation has announced a $100,000 grant, which includes $25k in matching funds, to the Tyler Clementi Foundation to aid their efforts to end online and offline bullying in schools, workplaces, and faith communities.
