The Top Ten Corporate Funders of LGBTQ Issues
Corporate funders have increased their investment in LGBTQ issues by more than fifteen fold in the last decade. Going from approximately $575,000 in 2003 to $8.7 million in 2012, corporate foundation support for LGBTQ issues has grown exponentially. Even though corporate funding constitutes a small portion of LGBTQ funding overall, at roughly 7 percent in 2012, it is growing at the fastest clip. ... click here to see the full list!!

    GSA Network released reports that find that compared to their peers, LGBTQ youth, gender nonconforming youth, and youth of color are face disproportionate levels of harsh school discipline, policing , and blame for their own victimizationRead the reports here.

  • San Diego Pride
    The application deadline for San Diego Pride's 2014 community grants for organizations serving the LGBT community is October 31. For more information, click here.
  • Surdna Foundation
    The Surdna Foundation has issued a request for proposals to individual artists, culture bearers and nonprofit arts organizations to support projects developed in response to communities' specific challenges and to support artists and organizations whose long-term, deeply-rooted work has increased social engagement without necessarily being explicitly "activist."
