In the April Issue of The Forced Migration Review, Andrew Park of Wellspring Advisors explores sexual orientation and gender identity in relation to protecting forced migrants. (see page 61)
"Time for a Change: The Case for LGBT-Inclusive Workplace Leave Laws & Nondiscrimination Protections"
A Better Balance has released a report that looks at the intersections between workplace leave laws and LGBTQ rights.
"Resilience Amidst Adversity: Being Gay and African in the new century"

The Atlantic Philanthropies and OTHER Foundation have released a case study focusing on LGBTI people in Africa. Note: The Atlantic Philanthropies also organized a tour of Southern Africa for LGBT philanthropists to encourage investment in LGBTQ issues in the region.

The International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans & Intersex Association provides an updated snapshot of the human rights situation of LGBTI people in Europe. Other resources including a 2013 Rainbow Europe Map, 2013 Rainbow Europe Index and country scorecards.

Nonprofit Quarterly examines how non-profits and funders have helped advance marriage equality.

"European Union lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender survey: Result at a glance"
The European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) has released an early overview of the results from a historic survey of 93,000 Europeans that finds most LGBT Europeans are living in fear. FRA has also produced a short video on the results. You can also explore the survey data yourself on their website.

Funders for LGBTQ Issues President Ben Francisco Maulbeck pens a Huffington Post op-ed about the dangers of perpetuating the "gays are rich" stereotype in response to an article published in The Chronicle of Philanthropy.
