Good Things Come in Threes |
|
A warm Habitat welcome to our newest partner families, Zachariah & Loice and their two daughters; Mahendra & Krishna; and Sanae and her four children!
Hardworking Habitat families are realizing the stability having a home of their own brings and the pride and sense of accomplishment that comes with helping to build and purchasing their own home.
As our newest partner families are beginning their Habitat journeys, you'll likely encounter one or more of these fabulous folks volunteering at the ReStore or on our construction sites in the weeks and months to come. So look for their smiling faces, introduce yourself and wish them a hearty "Welcome to the family!" |

Volunteers working on Orange Street. |
HFHMC has been working with an Ambler family since the devastating effects of Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee resulted in historic flooding in our community, specifically Ambler, and we are proud to announce that Sherry and her family are back in their home!
Thank you to First Presbyterian Church in Ambler, Helping Hands, McDonald Building Co., Thrivent Financial, and all of the volunteers who worked so hard to make it possible for this family to return to a safe home.
*Critical home repair is a new direction for Habitat, but one that we will be expanding in the coming months. Stay tuned for more information on how you can get involved in supporting low-income homeowners with critical repairs and more! |
|
Marianne Lynch discusses Volunteering and the Power of Doing Good in her latest blog.
*We have an immediate need for volunteers, especially on our construction sites in Upper Dublin and Norristown, in order to finish these projects on schedule and have our partner families moved in by summer. Please contact Darcy at dgallouedec@habitatmontco.org if you are able to help in April and May. |
