Exciting things are happening at ACPHS and we want you to be the first to know!

This past month, the College was awarded a grant from the Dormitory Authority of New York State (DASNY) for $335,000 to help fund the construction of three new "Active Learning" classrooms in the Holland Building. 

As one of the four priorities of the Beyond Practice Ready campaign, the Active Learning classrooms will blend technology with an interactive room design in a combination that has been proven effective in developing students' problem solving, communication, and critical thinking skills.

Hitesh Patel Where are they now? 

Alumnus and member of the ACPHS Class of 2013, Hitesh Patel, keeps a $1 bill in his pocket separate from the others. "It reminds me of who we are and who I am, and it stays with me because of that," he said.

Patel and his partner, Peter Pogany are the new owners of the Farmingdale Pharmacy, which reopened on February 15 after its sudden closure a year ago. Patel earned that special dollar as a tip after delivering medication to a Farmingdale Pharmacy customer from Plainfield. The customer was without a pharmacy after Farmingdale Pharmacy close.

One popular event to look forward to is the 9th Annual Friends of Noah Sorensen '97 and Mario Zeolla '97 Memorial Golf Tournament at Orchard Creek Golf Club on Friday, June 3. Register online today for this great event honoring two of our own!
