Density Screenings Help Ensure Patients Aren't "Bad to the Bone"

One of the newest organizations at the College is the student chapter of the National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA). Formed just this year, the group already has 114 members.

On Saturday, March 9, twenty members, along with Professor Michael Kane '84, held a bone density screening in the Albany Campus Student Center. Using factors such as genetics, history of previous fractures, and smoking/tobacco use, the students helped assess each person's risk factor for osteoporosis.
