LETTER FROM THE EDITOR

On Saturday, May 12 another prestigious group of graduates will join you as the most recent group of Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences alumni. The Class of 2012 will transition from student to professional at the 132nd commencement ceremony at the Empire State Plaza.

Leading up to Commencement, members of the Recent Graduate Council and Office of Institutional Advancement will be coordinating events with fellow campus leaders and departments to celebrate the achievements of this graduating class and promote ways in which our newest alumni can stay connected to ACPHS even after they leave. If you haven't joined already, connect now with members of the Class of 2012 on the LinkedIn ACPHS Alumni Outreach Group.

Again, join me in congratulating the Class of 2012 and welcoming our newest members of the alumni community!

Regards,

Bill Jabour
Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Relations

CAPITAL CAMPAIGN UPDATE

The Moving Forward Capital Campaign has made tremendous strides since publically launching last fall. We've currently raised $21.1 million and to date have hosted seven Toast from Coast to Coast events form New York to California. Based on the success of those receptions, more will be scheduled in the future. Stay tuned.

Recently, at the ACPHS Sports Banquet & Hall of Fame dinner, Dr. Gozzo shared more exciting news with alumni, athletes, coaches, friends and parents regarding the Athletics Field Renovation Project. Upgrades to the athletics field and track will begin this summer. Check out the video to learn more about this project or visit the Moving Forward Capital Campaign web page.

*The Toast from Coast to Coast events in North Carolina on April 20-22 will be rescheduled for the fall.
