From the Congregational Meeting . . .
All candidates were affirmed at the congregational meeting on December 13. Thank you for taking time to participate in the administration side of our church. We are blessed to have wonderful, talented people to help ensure we run smoothly.

Service Opportunities

Opportunities still exist to help others this Saturday. The Langsford House Boys Home Christmas party, is this Saturday, December 19 from 12:00 till 3:00 pm. Call or email Terri Wear at 816-606-1041 or terri.wear@gmail.com to join in or with any questions you may have.

Coldwater Friends Day is Saturday, December 19 from 11:30-2:00 pm. Crafters are wanted!

Deerbrook Youth Christmas Party

Youth - mark your calendars! The Deerbrook Youth will have a Christmas party on Wednesday, Dec 23, from 8:00 pm until 9:00 am on Thursday. (Not the regular 6:30 time for youth group.)
Candle Light Service, Dec 24

Please join Deerbrook for our Christmas Eve Candle Light Service, Thursday, December 24, at 6:00 pm.
Contributions for 2015

Here are dates and details to be aware of if you intend to make a contribution to Deerbrook for 2015.
  • All contributions received in the church office on or before December 31, 2015 (the office will be open until noon) will be recorded as 2015 contributions (unless the check is dated 2016).
  • Contributions made through e-give must be entered in the e-give system before December 28, 2015. More detailed information is available on e-give.
  • Checks sent through bank bill-pay systems that are dated on or before December 31, 2015 will be deducted from your account in 2015 and entered as 2015 contributions.
  • Checks dated on or before December 31, 2015 and mailed to  Deerbrook  Covenant Church will be recorded as 2015 contributions if they have a  2015 postmark.
2017 Church Camp
Registration for Church Camp, June 2017, continues. We need to register this far in advance in order to secure the rooms at the YMCA of the Rockies. However, if your plans change, you will get a refund of your deposit. See the information sheet for details.
