Bring 4 dozen of any kind of home baked cookies (please, no store-bought) and leave with 4 dozen different cookies. This will be a fun time for all and a great opportunity to showcase one of your favorite recipes!

Please bring an unopened package of cookies to donate to Pro Deo for the holiday season.

Giving/Outreach Opportunities

We have a number of giving/outreach opportunities during this season:
  1. Dinner for Langsford Boys Home (Dec 19)
  2. Pro Deo family (done!)
  3. Three Meadow Lane families, presents requested
Langsford House Party

It's that time of the year again for the Langsford House Boys Home Christmas party, Saturday, December 19 from 12:00 till 3:00 pm. There are a few items left on the board in the foyer for the meal. We need a lot of volunteers to help shop, cook, and serve. Call or email Terri Wear at 816-606-1041 or terri.wear@gmail.com with any questions you may have.
Deerbrook Youth Christmas Party

Youth - mark your calendars! The Deerbrook Youth will have a Christmas party on Wednesday, Dec 23.
Contributions for 2015

Here are dates and details to be aware of if you intend to make a contribution to Deerbrook for 2015.
  • All contributions received in the church office on or before December 31, 2015 (the office will be open until noon) will be recorded as 2015 contributions (unless the check is dated 2016).
  • Contributions made through e-give must be entered in the e-give system before December 28, 2015. More detailed information is available on e-give.
  • Checks sent through bank bill-pay systems that are dated on or before December 31, 2015 will be deducted from your account in 2015 and entered as 2015 contributions.
  • Checks dated on or before December 31, 2015 and mailed to  Deerbrook  Covenant Church will be recorded as 2015 contributions if they have a  2015 postmark.
2017 Church Camp
Registration for Church Camp, June 2017, continues. We need to register this far in advance in order to secure the rooms at the YMCA of the Rockies. However, if your plans change, you will get a refund of your deposit. See the information sheet for details.
