Sunday

This Sunday we will discuss "Bringing Jesus to People." We know the world is a mess, and God's answer is Jesus. So we are compelled to serve and reach out in compassion. We will also hear from the missions team about their recent trip to Jamaica.
Go Team

Our first GO TEAM meeting will start after the service on Sunday morning. We will have a short meeting to pray, discuss, learn, and make plans for being a church that "Brings People to Jesus."

Family Devotional Books

We invite your family to share in Advent Family Devotions with a free book we are offering for this Christmas season. Books are available this week.

Annual Fall Youth Retreat
It's not too late to sign up! The Annual Fall Youth Retreat will be Friday, November 20 at 4:00 pm to Sunday, November 22 at 9:00 am at the Youth Front Camp West Retreat in Edgerton, KS. Cost is $65. Please give cash or checks (payable to Deerbrook Covenant Church) to Preston.
Operation Christmas Child

Being involved in this Samaritan's Purse project is a great way to have a positive impact on children around the world.

Select an ornament off the Christmas tree in the foyer, and bring the gift you chose to the church by Wednesday, Nov 18.

Help pack the gift boxes and pray for the recipients at the packing party Nov 18 at 7:00 pm. Bring a picture of your family with a note on the back so that the child who opens the box will know there is someone at the other end who cares about them.
Children's Musical, Sunday, Nov 22

Our talented kids will present an original production of "The Orphans' Wish" during the 10:00 am Worship Service on Nov 22.
This heartwarming story depicts the journey of a rambunctious group of orphans who are accompanied by three Children's Aid Workers as they travel from New York to Missouri in the year 1922.

Please join us on the 22nd as we share another example of God's amazing love and plan for even "the smallest of these."
Children's Ministry Hiring Team Update
The Children's Ministry Hiring Team has prepared a survey so they may have your input regarding this precious ministry. Look for the survey in this Sunday's program. It will also be available after that, through the church office or by email. We look forward to hearing from everyone who wants to participate in this survey. If you have questions, please contact the Hiring Team at cmhiringteam@gmail.com
Fall Gardening Task

If you can give an hour of time on Saturday, Nov 21 to help put down mulch in the garden, your help will be much appreciated. Work will begin at 9:00 am.
Christmas Decoration Chili Party

We will have our annual Christmas Decoration Chili Party on Monday, November 23 at 6:00 pm. Please come and help decorate the large Christmas tree in the sanctuary and the smaller trees in the foyer. We will have a big pot of chili ready for everyone to enjoy!
