The "Grace Conference" is a first-time, one-time event.  This is not a "pre-packaged" event that is touring the country.  If you miss it - you will have missed an opportunity that may never happen again.

We've heard that some people believe this conference is only for families with children.  Although there is one session with an emphasis on parenting, the conference is intended for people of all ages.  Getting old doesn't diminish our need for grace - we may even need more of it as we age!

Perhaps we should also address the cost.  The ticket prices was set at an amount that would cover our costs.  Even so, $50 a couple may seem like a lot to some, but it is less than $8.50 a session per person.  Even the least expensive ticket for a Royals game is $10 (parking, etc. not included).  For some $50 is no more than a dinner at a nice restaurant.  For others, it may be a big deal.  If you want to attend, but haven't figured out how to work it in your budget, talk to Pastor Roger.

Saturday morning, September 5, has been  set as a time to take care of some much needed building and grounds maintenance. 

The hallway upstairs has almost as many spots as a leopard and desperately needs a new coat of paint.  Another room looks so bad that Roger refuses to use it.  Our landscaping needs to be weeded and there are numerous places that just need some cleaning and attention. 

If you want to help, but Saturday, September 5 won't work for you, let us know when you will be available and we'll make appropriate arrangements.
 
Pizza will be provided for lunch.
