 A dear member of our cello section, Isabell O'Connell, passed away yesterday morning after a long battle with illness. She was a longtime member of our symphony, who was loved by many and will be sorely missed. We are all deeply saddened by this news.
The funeral arrangements are as follows:
The visitation will be at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service (6360 Broadway, Merrillville) on Tuesday, February 24th from 2-8pm, with a prayer service at 7:30 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church (5920 Waite St., Merrillville) with Rev. Gerald Schweitzer officiating. There will be visitation at the church one hour prior to services.
