HOSTS CHILDREN'S CHORUS FUNDRAISER
LA PORTE, IN (February 10, 2015) - The La Porte County Symphony Orchestra will host their Children's Chorus FUNdraiser, Tiny Tunes Trivia Night, Friday, February 20th, at 7 p.m. at The Silver Palace, 1719 State Street, La Porte. Participants will compete for hundreds of dollars in raffles and prizes donated by local businesses. The evening will be filled with entertaining, mind-blowing trivia facts from around the world! The holidays are over and it is time for trivia FUN! Do you know what special talent Molly Ringwald's character has in the Breakfast Club? Do you know which Disney animated feature includes seven Elvis Presley songs? Do you love trivia? Register individually for $25 or as a team of 8 for just $100 at www.lcso.net. To sponsor a child in the chorus, click on the Contribute tab, Children's Chorus. Cash bar provided by The Silver Palace. BYOS - Bring Your Own Snacks. This is an adults-only event. Formed as a community engagement program of the La Porte County Symphony Orchestra in 2011, the La Porte County Symphony Orchestra Children's Chorus, led by Matthew Nelson, is a community chorus that is open to all 2nd through 5th grade students who love to sing. Chorus participants are taught group and solo singing fundamentals. The chorus, composed of approximately 40 children, is now accepting students for the 2015 season. Register online at
